Brookside CardinalsBasketball Philosophy

The Brookside Cardinals Basketball program is built around creating a family atmosphere for each every player who participates. Our philosophy is based on providing a hard working, competitive, character driven program. The goal is to develop the best Student-Athletes at all levels of play. In order to achieve that goal we place classroom behavior and achievement first, then focus on becoming better basketball players. We strive to develop a team that is competitive exemplifies the qualities that are needed to be successful in all endeavors. The success of our program as a whole will be based on how well each person performs each specific role how hard each specific team works to become unified.

“The team is the star, never an individual player.”

--John Wooden
