You are warmly invited to attend a UK Education Fair in Toronto on Tuesday 23rd September 2014. This will take place at The York School1320 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON M4T 1X2
This is a unique opportunity for students (and parents) to come and meet 5 of the top UK universities simultaneously, collect course information, and chat with representatives from each institution.
The 5 Russell Group Universities attending are The University of Bristol, Durham University, Newcastle University, The University of Warwick, University of York.
The main event will begin at 7pm, but from 5:30pm – 6:45pm we are offering an optional workshop for students from any schoolthat would like assistance with writing a UCAS personal statement or would like specific information about UCAS or applying to the UK.
The evening’s activities will therefore be structured as follows:

Who Can Attend?
All students, Grade 10 and above, who are interested in UK Higher Education are invited to attend the main event. We have decided to hold the event in the evening so that your parents/guardians will also have the opportunity to attend and we encourage parents to attend!
The optional UCAS Personal Statement Workshop, running from 5:30-6:45pm is open to any Grade 11 or 12 students from any schoolthat are thinking about applying to a UK University and would like advice about writing their UCAS personal statement (you do not have to be planning to attend one of the 5 Universities above to attend, the information will be relevant regardless).
Registration
If you would like to attend please could you be kind enough to complete the Eventbrite registration forms for each event, located in the hyperlinks above (the password is the word England). The eventsare100% free, and no ticket is required but completing the registration form will help us to establish accurate numbers and make relevant catering arrangements.
Can’t make this event? – Not to worry, we will be holding another identical event the day before (Monday 22nd) at Crescent School. Please register for that event here (same password).
