ANNOUNCEMENTS:

*Please rise for the flag salute, <pause> ready, begin.

* All track and field athletes please pay your transportation fees right away. We are about to lose busing for our meets, so please do your part immediately.

* Don’t miss the drama presentation of Brighton Beach Memoirs beginning this Thursday at 7:00 pm. The show will have 3 performances after opening night on Friday at 7:00 pm, and Saturday at 2:00 and 7:00 pm. Tickets are $8.

* It is that time of year again… the 2nd Annual ShamRock n’Run 5k/2k Event for the R.E.A.C.H. Foundation will take place on March 15, 2014. If you are looking for community service hours, this is a great opportunity. All students, parents, grandparents, siblings, etc. are welcome as long as they are at least high school age. Students will again receive Community Service hours for their volunteer time and many of our students last year had such a great time that they stayed for the whole event! See Mr. Louie in the Activities Office for more information.

*Attentions Students: Valencia has two posters to be judged on Facebook for the ShamRock n’ Run 5K/2K sponsored by the REACH Foundation. Find the REACH Foundation page on Facebook and vote for the two posters created by our very own Valencia Tigers. You can vote by liking the individual pictures of the posters!

If you are enrolled in anAPclass and plan to take the exam, you must take your order form as well as your payment to the activities office prior toMarch 14th. Students who do not pay prior toMarch 14thwill not have an exam ordered for them. Please see Mr. Lopez if you have any questions.

* Any current Pre-IB or IB students who are interested in attending summer school this year, please be sure to attend a mandatory informational meeting ontoday, March 3rdin the Auditorium during single lunch. Mr. Stanley will hand out information and go over the process at that time.

* All lost and found items will be on display in the front office. Please stop by if you are missing any jackets or sweatshirts, or cell phones.

*Attention all track and field athletes: remember to bring all fundraising money and leftover discount cards to practice on Wednesday, March 5th. They will be collected at our weekly team meeting. Thanks for doing your part!
