Position Summary
With direct supervision, perform hand finishing, deburring and inspection, using appropriate tooling as required. Position requires a positive attitude. Cross training is mandatory in various disciplines within the hand finish area.

- Be familiar with all tools required for hand finish.
- Chamfer, radius and grind parts to blueprints and work instructions.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Read, interpret and execute work instructions.
- Follow all company policies including safety instructions.
- Other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Maintain a neat and orderly workstation and promote overall good housekeeping practices.
List preferred job-related qualifications, if different from above.
- 10 years’ experience in turbine engine repair and overhaul
- 2 years’ experience in the evaluation of component damage and repair selection
- 2 years’ experience with inspection tooling and processes
- Proficient in MS Office applications. Knowledgeable in various ERP system functions
- Experience with reading blue prints and GD&T
- Good communication and writing skills
- Familiar with FAR 63, 43 and 145, understands and can apply regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated experience with Lean and 5S principle.
