2015 Dorset County Closed Racketball Championship
Doubles
The number of entrants/court time, will determine whether a normal draw or a box league will be played for this section.
Depending on the above, if it is a box league, the plan is that there will be 2 “A” group league boxes, 2 “B” group league boxes and 2 “C” group league boxes. The 2 winners of the A boxes will play each other in a final on Sunday afternoon (similarly for the B and C box winners).
There will be a maximum of 4 pairs in each box.
Each box will play all their matches during a 3 hour slot between either 12:00 to 3:20 Every match will last for 20 minutes (so please arrive promptly) and will be on an American points scoring basis.
Games will be played in the following sequence: A v B, C v D, A v C, B v D etc and each box’s matches will be played on 1 court.
Singles Marking issues
Please note that the winner will mark the next match on the court they have just played on, if for any reason they have wandered off or are not ready to assist, they will mark the next 2 matches on that court. You have been warned!!!!
