Barbara Moglia 1005 Park Ave expressed her dismay over the property at 1007 Park Ave, a violation had been issued but there still has not been any improvements to the property.

Gladys Erbe 817 Pitney Dr. She was glad to see Mr. Herner and Chief Petriken present to discuss the needs of their prospective departments. She felt garbage trucks were definitely needed.

David Schenk C Street Belmar wanted to discuss the school state aid and the decline of it. He felt that the State is abusing towns; all residents pay state income tax which was designated to support schools which has not dispensed fairly. Senator Mike Doherty has a plan that would take those monies and divide it equally across all students. He hoped that the Governing Body would support this plan. He has a copy of a resolution that Belmar recently passed. Mayor Enright asked for a copy and told Mr. Schenk that council would review it.

Gladys Erbe 817 Pitney Dr wanted to see if restrictions could be put in place for the taxis that advertise liquor on their vehicles.

12.  SECOND VOICE OF THE PUBLIC – NEW BUSINESS ONLY OPENDED BY Vorbach / Maccanico

Arthur Martone 719 Park Ave would like to ask Chief Petriken how many cars would be equipped with the automatic readers, unfortunately Chief Petriken had to leave the meeting, Councilman Brennan thought it was 2.

Gladys Martone 719 Park Ave read in Coast Star that the school is taking in 11 tuition children and they’re only paying $4,000.00 for each student. As taxpayers we pay other towns, she wanted to know why we are losing money. The Mayor replied that she should go to School Board and ask the question.

John Tangeman 564 Atlantic Ave recently heard a piece on the radio that the solar powered speed signs actual do slow down divers. Once their speed is displayed drivers do slow down, it was felt they actually are more affective, sometimes the police car is not visible.
