Border Union Bicentenary “200 Club”
On behalf of the Society we would like to invite you to be part of the Bicentenary 200 Club. There is no limit to how many tickets can be purchased at £10 each.
There will be three Prize Draws : At the Bicentenary Show, the Cydectin Kelso Ram Sales and the AGM in December 2013. The only Rules are - there must be at least four people present for each Draw and 50% of money collected must be returned in Prize money. Assuming there are 1000 Tickets sold the Prizes will be as follows : Show and Ram Sales : £1250.00p at each : 1st / £250, 2nd / £150, 3rd / £100, 4th x 2 / £75, 6th x 8 / £50, 14th x 8 / £25.
We hope you will support this. There is a lot better chance of winning in the 200 Club than in the National Lottery !
All winners will be sent a cheque after each Draw.

Cairn
To commemorate the Bicentenary a Cairn will be built in a prominent place within the Showground, most likely in view of the main avenue from the Main Gates to the Exhibition Hall.
All Trade Stand Exhibitors are invited, and indeed anyone else who wishes to be part of this special year, to “Sponsor a Stone” in the Cairn. As a rule of thumb it is suggested that donations towards this are levelled for each Trade Stand at £5 per metre frontage, with a minimum of £20.00 please, though the Society will be most grateful for more. As has been said in the enclosed letter the extra elements at the 2013 are going to be substantial so all help will be appreciated.
A plaque will be attached to the Cairn for posterity with the names of all Companies and individuals who subscribe to the building of the Cairn and it is hoped that the Countess of Wessex will place the last stone during her visit to the Show.
