Book Club Expectations

You will choose a book to read. Find two to three people who have opted for the same book. Set up a reading schedule for your team. Every week, you will independently read your book, staying on the group plan. Each Friday after your independent reading, you will discuss the book. You will need to bring in three questions, per person, to discuss as a group. At the end of the six weeks of reading, your group will create a presentation about the book. The presentation will include a mini-book report and needs to incorporate visuals. The visuals can be a poster, a Prezi, a skit, drawings, or anything else your group would like to do. The presentations will be three to five minutes. You will need to make job assignments for every member of your group.

Your group will have one work day in class. If you need more time you will need to arrange out of class meeting times. Presentations will count as your mid-term.
