  • Accepted over 220 volunteers from 30 countries
  • Was led by 11 student leaders
  • Completed over 2579 volunteers hours at 177 volunteer shifts

  • “I loved getting to know people from all over the world and learning about their background and where they're from.”
  • “Conversations with senior citizens was the most meaningful experience for me this semester. It was great to talk with the elderly, listening to their life experiences and get some enlightenment from them.”
  • “I really enjoyed helping out at the Hannah Center. I am an English Education major, so I love working with kids. I think being able to interact one-on-one in the community and see the children that actually live in Lafayette was a great experience.”
  • “I think most of all the events leave me a good expression. By doing volunteer work, you may know more about the local community, enjoy the pleasure gaining from helping the people in need and win recognition.”
  • “My most positive experience was singing at the University Place for Valentine's Day. The residents really loved all of the song and their smiles were so genuine.”
