CHASSIS:

An all steel welded chassis of cold rolled channel and main members with angle cross members will be hot dipped galvanised.

A single 1300kg rubber torsion bar suspension axle will be mechanically fixed to the main members in such a position as to give an inboard wheel configuration and a desired nose weight of approximately 75kgs. Wheels and tyres are 175R 13C.

A Bradley hitch and jockey wheel will be fitted.

An overrun hitch with parking brake and jockey wheel are bolted to the "A" frame and linked to the axle brakes by use of rod and cables. Wind down legs are provided to all four corners, which are bolted and not welded with two front legs positioned to wind up and down from the nearside and offside due to the shaped front.

FLOOR:

A 12mm polished phenolic floor in the Clean and Dirty Areas is mechanically fixed to the chassis and will in turn have galvanised steel wheelboxes fitted which will be weather sealed, to stop the ingress of any road spray.

The Shower Area floor will be GRP "tanked" to give a non slip characteristic. The clean end dirty area are to have heavy duty vinyl. Two drain points are required in the Shower Area in opposite corners adjacent to the wheel box covers.

The wheel boxes are to have a slight slope towards the centre of the trailer to allow water to disperse into the Shower base.

In the Clean and Dirty Areas two drain points are provided; one to the offside angled front corner and one to the near side rear corner. Drainage points in the Clean and Dirty Area are to be recessed and fitted with a plug and chain to stop ingress of road spray. All drain points are to be linked to allow water to disperse at the drain point.

All drain points are to be plumbed into one outlet.

BODY:

The main body will be of a pressed sandwich construction of White GRP exterior and 24mm foam core, with a White GRP interior.

All corner and roof trims will be in our de-luxe anodised aluminium section allowing for face fixing with all fasteners covered by a PVC screw cover.

Suitable fixed ventilation is provided to the offside front angled wall at high level.

Grab handles will be fitted front and rear to aid in manoeuvrability.

Bumper strip will be fitted to the near side and offside of the trailer, this will be the new extrusion of Black rubber moulding with a Blue 'D' insert.

The front of the unit will be shaped over the "A" frame to give an aerodynamic shape and also give more space as required inside the units as indicated on the floorplan.

Entrance to the unit is gained by two doors. The "clean" and "dirty" doors will be on the near side as indicated on the floor plan. A door closer will be fitted to both the clean and dirty end door. The door locks will be Yale and will be provided with mated keys with serial numbers.

The external doors will have a seal to the outer side only.

A "T" shape spirit level will be fitted just above each wheel arch.

ROOF:

The roof will be pressed body construction with GRP to the interior and aluminium to the exterior.

PARTITIONS:

The trailer will be divided into three areas by the fitment of full height partitions of a pressed construction. This Construction being White GRP either side of a structural foam Core.

Each partition will have a personnel door fitted centrally closing towards the rear of the trailer and hinged as shown on the floor plan. Both doors will be fitted with mortice latch and handles and a simple "T" bar closer. The bottom of the doors will have a rubber sealing strip rather than a brush seal.

The tanked GRP floor in the central section will be continued up 4" of the partitions and exposed outer wall.

A cat flap will be fitted to the partition separating the dirty end from the shower. It will be positioned at a height level with the door handle. A bracket will be fitted to the dirty side of the partition to which a bag can be fitted.

Two vents will be fitted high level to the rear partition and two low 9" x 6" fixed vents are fitted to the front partition. Clearance will be required for the pipe boxed in the front partition.

PLUMBING:

A gas water heater will be wall mounted in the centre front bulkhead - Brittany II. The gas supply coming from the customers own gas cylinder housed in a box positioned on the nearside angled front corner, accessed from a door positioned on the exterior front corner.

One dead lock is provided to lock the door and in the event that keys are lost, a graveney catch is provided on the exterior of the door.

A drain cock will be plumbed to the water system and will be positioned under floor level, at the bottom of the hot line out of the heater to aid in drainage. To stop excessive water pressure into the unit a pressure valve will be as before.

The bottle trap for the shower to be fitted as near to the outlet on the offside as possible.

Two thermostatically controlled shower valves are fitted, complete with shower heads. A small hand basin is fitted in the shower area.

240 VOLT ELECTRICS:

Fed through a 16 amp flush mounted coupler, are a consumer unit complete with 16 amp RCD and two MCBs one 10 amp and one 6 amp. Other electrical items are as follows:-

Two single switched 13 amp sockets in the Clean end to be fitted adjacent to the seat as shown on the floor plan.

Three bulkhead lights 16 watt are fitted along the length of the trailer high level on the offside wall except for the light in the Shower area. This will be fitted on the near side wall as shown on the floor plan. All the electric wiring will be fitted integral of the body to avoid the use of excessive plastic conduit.

Two 3 ft. tubular heaters are fitted one in the clean and one in the dirty area under the benches. This will be fitted on a bracket off the wall to stop discoloration of the wall due to heat.

Lynton to fit a SI Vent Negative pressure to the unit. The extractor will have a Bulgin class IP168 plug attached which will fit to a suitable socket.

The extractor is to be fitted with latches to make it easily removable and also to be more centrally located.

INTERNAL FITTINGS:

Supplied in each end compartment will be a plastic bench seat of 300mm width, as indicated on the floor plan.

The bench seat in the clean area will be high enough to fit a "Safety Industries" water tank. Provision will be made to secure the water tank as previously supplied. The seat will be sufficiently high to allow the water tank complete with lid to be fitted.

Six coat hooks are fitted in the clean area and six in the dirty area as shown on the floor plan.

The Clean compartment only will have a wall fixed mirror.

A bank of 6 lockers are provided situated above the gas compartment. The locker doors will have a hasp and staple fitted.

Each locker will have a charger socket fitted.

A propane gas regulator will be fitted.

12 VOLT ELECTRICS:

Full M.o.T. lighting is fitted to the trailer and is fed through a seven pin socket at the front.

Mesh light guards will be fitted to the rear light clusters.
