Bob the Lonely Ghost

There was a ghost named Bob. Bob liked to scare people. He used fear to scare these people and because he was a ghost it was very easy to use fear to scare people. Bob was a very scary ghost. People ran and hid out of fear whenever they saw Bob. People don’t like it when ghosts are see-through because that is very scary. People also don’t like it when they are near a dead person who is flying around them. And because of these things people don’t like Bob because he scares them. Because Bob scared people, he didn’t really have any friends because nobody wants to be friends with someone that is trying to scare them all the time.

Bob was a very sad ghost. As I said before ghosts don’t have many friends. The only friends ghosts have are other ghosts because ghosts can’t scare other ghosts. The reason ghosts can’t scare other ghosts is because they are immune to being scared. They are immune to being scared because if they weren’t they would scare themselves whenever they looked in a mirror, even though they can’t see themselves in a mirror. But sadly, Bob had no ghost friends. Bob was a very lonely ghost. One day Bob was tired of not having any friends. He decided to change that. That day he went out to find some human friends because he knew that no ghosts wanted to be his friend.

Later that day after floating down the sidewalk he came upon a large group of humans at a school. School was just getting out so the group of humans was large. Bob decided that this would be a great place to meet some friends because Bob liked kids. He walked up to a young boy and said “Hello my name is Bob, I am a lonely ghost, will you be my friend?” The boy took one look at him with a look of terror on his face. He screamed “OH MY GOD A GHOST!” and ran away as fast as he could. This made Bob very sad. Bob just wanted a friend, but he knew he couldn’t get a friend by asking if everyone was scared of him. This made Bob even sadder then he already was. At this point Bob was a very, very, very sad ghost. Bob didn’t like being a sad ghost.

Then Bob formulated a plan. He would kidnap one of the kids using his levitation powers to pick him up and drop him in a landfill. Then he would dig a grave in the landfill and bury the kid alive. Then when they died he would have a ghost to be friends with. But he would want more than just one friend eventually. He would need to kidnap more kids than just one. And this would be very hard to do. He would have to come up with a better plan to avoid getting noticed. If he didn’t execute the plan perfectly someone would find out that he was taking kids to be his friend. And this would be a very bad thing. It would mean that he wouldn’t be able to get any more friends if people were making sure their kids weren’t being taken by a ghost. He decided that the best way to do this would be to take all the kids at once instead of one at a time. He would do this by picking up the whole bus, bringing them to the landfill and dropping them off so that he could bury them as he wanted. He decided that this was the best course of action to take to get a friend.

It was about time that Bob put this plan into action. When school was over he would pick up the bus and drop it off in the landfill, he would lock all the doors so no kids could get out, dig the graves, and bury the kids in the graves one by one. It was time, the final bell was just about to ring to signal the kids that it was time to leave, the perfect chance. So he flew down to the school and got ready to put his plan into action. The bell rang just as he got to the school. Perfect timing. He saw a bus fill up, there were plenty of kids inside, that was his target. He moved towards the bus just as the doors closed. He picked up the bus using his powers of levitation. After he got a firm hold of the bus he started flying towards the city landfill. The kids were screaming in terror inside. Bob’s screwed up ghost mind thought there were cheering for him. After he got to the landfill he landed the bus. Using his levitation further he picked up dirt from the ground and dropped it into a pile making enough graves for all the students. And so he opened the door to the bus, picked up a kid, and buried him in the ground, dropping dirt on top of him. He did the same for the next kid, and the next one, eventually burying all the kids. Then he waited.

The ghosts of the kids started rising, plenty of new friends for him. They all looked around in confusion, not understanding what just happened to them. Then Bob announced “Welcome to the land of the dead, I brought you all here to be my friends because I am a lonely ghost,” and he looked around at them. They all looked in confusion at him, wondering why he was insane enough to kill a group of kids just so he could have friends. And in anger, without saying one word, they all turned around and floated away. They didn’t want anything to do with a ghost that killed them just to be friends with him. He looked over to them with a look of disappointment and despair on his face. “Come back!” he screamed, but they didn’t answer. He was very sad now. Bob was not even this sad before he tried to make new friends. Now he had the sadness caused by the realization that he would never have friends.

Bob was extremely disheartened, he was sadder than ever, he flew back very slowly and sadly to his house. He would never be a happy ghost. Ever.
