Review of previous meetings notes.

  • Treasure Report: Dave Morin
  • Jeremy working with Chris Shaw to complete 501C filing
  • Will need to file an annual report every November
  • Field Report: Ken Bollin
  • Practice fields lined for all teams
  • Grass cut a little short
  • Registration: Joe Aliberti
  • One parent took issue with Opt Out Fee
  • Average/tagger money raised was $53
  • Six people paid Opt Out Fee
  • $50 Opt Out Fee considered justified
  • Only 9 outstanding registrations
  • OCYFL: Jim Brow
  • Weigh in Rep meeting – August 26 at 7:30, Mitchell Club in Middleborough
  • Each team needs two representative at meeting – head coaches need to name representatives
  • Official weigh-in September 12 at 11:30 am in Rockland
  • Plymouth scrimmage - they will arrive on Monday 8/24 around 5:30 for 5:45 start
  • Plymouth will have JV and varsity at all levels
  • Apponequet scrimmage – they should be arriving around 5 on August 28th; Jeremy will verify
  • They do not have JV at C level – head coaches to work it out
  • Playoffs – Raynham to host night game Saturday November 7
  • Playoffs – Barnstable hosting Sunday November 8
  • Super Bowl – Rockland hosting November 15
  • If Raynham has EEE issue with night game, Norwell is back up site
  • Concessions: Anthony McCauley
  • Shawn Carfagna will be in shed on Saturday 9/22
  • Would be helpful if anyone could join him
  • Equipment Report: Tom Holton
  • Next year all Giants playersto get equipment on Sunday 5:30 to 6:30 pm
  • Next year JOCKS camp only kids to get equipment on Monday 3:30 to 4:30 pm.
  • Athletic tape and ice to be ordered
  • All team medical kits need to be checked and resupplied as required
  • Additional small pant order is in
  • Uniform hand out – A team 9/2, B team 9/3, C team and Mighty Mites 9/4
  • Complete list of jersey numbers needed for ad book by 9/5/15.
  • C team will go before Mighty Mites
  • Blue socks upstairs for Mighty Mites
  • Two Extra large helmets will be shipping for A team kids
  • Three more footballs needed for C Team – order to be placed immediately
  • Fund Raising: Shawn Carfagna
  • Shawn presented a couple ideas for breast cancer awareness.
  • Will discuss breast cancer week ideas for next meeting
  • Miscellaneous/BR Classic
  • Should we have BR Classic at Bettencourt
  • $1000 estimated lost not having Classic at Bettencourt
  • Raynham is home team this year
  • Concern about getting volunteers to staff concession
  • Concern about adding another game on Bettencourt field with JV games schedule
  • Agreed to table decision until next meeting
  • Paul LeClerc asked about date for picture day
  • Pictures usually done on a Monday when there is no practice with time adjusted for CCD
  • Jeremy proposes doing team and coaches photos third week into season
  • All head coaches should have One Call Now app installed on their phone.
  • Joe Aliberti will help any coach who needs it with One Call Now app
  • Concussion testing was a success. All but two kids showed.
  • Those kids may have to go to primary care physician or get password from Dan Tripp
  • Practice for all three teams going well
  • TMLP fixed light at Bettencourt
