BOARD OF COURSE IN MEDICINE AND SURGERY

With regards to the Law of December 24th 1993 n. 537, and in particular art. 5;
With regards to Act June 18th 2009 no. 69 and in particular art. 32, relative to the performance, with effect from 1 January 2010, the legal disclosure obligations for online publication;
With regards to the Law n. 240, December 30, 2010, entitled "Regulations on the organization of the University, academic staff and recruitment, as well as government delegation to enhance the quality and efficiency of the university system" and in particular art. 23;
With regardsto the Ministerial Decree of July 21st 2011 relating to the remuneration payable to contracts for teaching and in particular art. 1;
With regards to the Decree Law no. 5 of February 9th 2012 in force since 13.02.2012, "Urgent provisions on simplification and development" and in particular, with regards to universities, art. Amendment of Article 49 of. 23 of Law 240/2010 co. 1;
With regards to the "Regulations for the conferment of teaching assignments" University of Rome Tor Vergata, issued by Rector's Decree no. 1970 of 13.07.2011, the implementation of the Act;
With the availability of budget funds to finance the mobility of lecturers on contract within the funds provided by the Ministry of Education to carry out the activities under TVWU Rome;
Given the D.R. n. 3736 of 12.05.2012, an allocation of Euro 198,000.00 is available to fund n. 1 lecturer (professor) for each of the nine of Courses Degree taught entirely in English, enabled forthe academic year 2013-2014 at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata";
Considering that in the aforementioned D.R. is financedn.1 Visiting Professor for the Course of Degree in Medicine and Surgery,
Considering that the Board of Course in Medicine and Surgery at its meeting on February 19, 2013 determined to cover for the academic year 2013/2014 the teaching in the area of Embryology, through the award of a contract to be paid for a gross compensation €15,594.37 (for a total expenditure of € 20,000.00 on the budget of the), which is assigned to a professor of foreign nationality who does not belong to any Italian University;

ART.1
Content and Scope
Is hereby given of a public selectionprocedure for the award of onerous contract following the teaching assignment of the module of Embryology in the integrated course of Histology andEmbryology (3 ECTS 24 hours), Seminars (1 ECTS 8 hours), Laboratory (1 ECTS 8 hours) and Evaluation test ,for the second semester of the Academic Year 2013-2014 inside the Integrated Course of Histology and Embryology.
Deductions will be accruedfrom the gross salary according to law which burden selected candidate with this responsibility.
The totalcost of this position will be covered through the available funds of the Universityof Rome “Tor Vergata” based on DR n. 3736/2012.

Admission Requirements
With regards to the provisions of art. 10 of the Regulations for the conferment of teaching positions at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, all the candidates who fulfil the requirements listed below:
-Foreign scholars or professionals with scientific awards at national and international levels who does not belong to any ItalianUniversity;
Individuals who have a fourth degree of consanguinity or affinity with a professor belonging to the given department or Rector, General Director or any member of the Administrative Committee of Tor Vergata University cannot participate in the selection process.

Application Procedures
The application form, duly completed and signed, has to be addressed to Prof. Paolo Di Francesco - President of the Course of Medicine and Surgery, University of Rome Tor Vergata, Via Montpellier 1, 00133 Rome, must be received within31-03-2013.

Applicants must indicate in their application form the following information and attach a copy of valid identity document:
1) Name and surname;
2) Date and place of birth;
3) Fiscal code (if available);
4) the address, telephone number and e-mail address;
5) any other information considered useful for the purpose of a possible comparison among several candidates.
6) the requirement mentioned in the ART 2 should be satisfied.

In order to complete the application, the following documents should be attached:
- Curriculum vitae;
- List of titles (academic, scientific and professional), and publications;
- Any additional documentation the applicant might wish to add.
The supporting evidence of titles held can be sent as pdf files, together with a statement (Annex A) confirming the compliance of the original.
ART.5
Winner announcement
To the successful candidate, whose name will be published on the website of the Department, the Council of the same Department will assign the task of teaching.
The winner must also complete "information model" necessary to fulfil the legal requirements for the execution of contracts for Private Law courses.

According to Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 and subsequent amendments and the existing University Regulations on the subject, the personal data will be processed by the University for the purposes of this selection and may be disclosed to third parties for fulfilment of obligations under applicable laws and regulations.
