BSSC forms coed recreational teams which are scheduled eight games at HiddenValley
Park Soccer Complex in Blue Springs. Most teams schedule will consist of eightgames on Saturday with possibility of one game on a Monday, Tuesday or Thursday evening. Games will begin on Saturday, August 16th. The last scheduled match for most teams will be October 21st with a makeup date of October 28th. Will not play on Labor Day weekend.
Fee: $60 per player when registering in person ($70 after July 9th)

BSSC also offers play for girls teams and coed recreational or competitive teams through KC Metro League. These teams will play at least four games in Blue Springs and up to four games out of Blue Springs for an eight game schedule. Games will begin the weekend of August 19th. Most of these teams will play one or two games on Sunday afternoon. Will not play on Labor Day weekend. Last weekend of play will be the weekend of October 28th. Following weekend will be available for reschedules if necessary.

If you will be out of town on June 24th or July 8th, we have another option for registering your player.Go to after June 25thfor registration form, medical release and liability waiver and instructions for registering your player. Fee is $65if you need to pursue this option. Increases to $70if received after July 9th.
Comments on Team Formation
Players participating on teams playing in the BSSC League may be grouped by school, zip code, neighborhood or church affiliation. Teams are comprised of boys and girls. Once placed on a team, the player may request that (s)he return to the same team next session (Fall or Spring) or be placed back into the general pool of players for team allocation. Players that skip a session may request the team they played with previously but are secondary to players returning to that team from the previous session. General requests are taken under advisement but BSSC is not bound to honor them in allocating players to teams. All teams playing in the BSSC League are considered recreational teams. BSSC forms all teams in the BSSC League. BSSC reserves the right to form or reform teams for competitive balance in an age group.
Teams participating in the KC Metro League may be recreational teams or competitive teams. The terms recreational and competitive refer to the manner in which the team is formed. Teams may be girls only or boys(coed). Competitive teams may hold tryouts for roster slots.
If a player wants to play on a KC Metro League team, we will attempt to locate a roster slot or create a team. If there isn’t a coach or enough players for a team then the player will be placed on a BSSC League team.
REFUND POLICY:
Request for refund received prior to July 21st will be refunded in full. Requests received between 7/22 and 8/15 will be refunded net of a $25 administrative fee after the return of the uniform to the coach. No refund will be made after the first game. Board of directors will review special circumstances.
