Not long to go folks and things are really shaping up, it’s all systems go from here on in.Here is what we have in store for you.

Workshops by Giles Hedley:

Giles will help you explore the “other side” to blues harp playing: how to nourish groove, feel and emotion in our blues playing. What is the harp there for in blues? How do we relate to the singer and to other instruments? Bouncing off the beat – loving every note – setting up a groove and deepening it – economy and the power of silence. We’ll listen to some nice examples, and try it for ourselves. My motto: technique is just the start – what really counts is how you use it!

Workshops by Will Wilde:

Will is concentrating on 1st, 2nd and 3rd position in both Intermediate and Advanced workshops, expanding your knowledge and understanding of blues playing in these positions. His definitive guidance to blues scales and riffs will help you use all three positions effectively and confidently for the blues at either level.

Workshops by Richard Taylor:

If you always wondered where to start, Richard will take you by the hand onajourney of enlightenment, from opening the box, developingkey harp techniques, building repertoire and personallydelivering youto the doorstepof note bending. You'll start from a broad base of notes, chugging and vamping, learn the principles of straight harp and cross harp, zone in onsingle note playing and hand techniques, and finally attempt your first draw and blow bends.

Beginners will need a Diatonic Harmonica in the key of C. There will be Hohner Silver Star, key of C harmonicas on sale @ £10 each, cash sales only.

All other levels I suggest that you bring a set of diatonic harmonicas on the day if you have them
