Blind Man’s Game

This game will teach your guests about the importance of wearing jewelry. It changes the way you look and can even make you look like you’ve lost weight! I know for many of us that is important. Adding a simple earring and necklace set to an outfit will seriously change others impressions of you. However, if you are rushing out the door and you don’t have time to put on a whole set of jewelry, grab a pair of earrings. Earrings are the essential part of your jewelry wardrobe. Believe it or not, earrings add a little sparkle to your eyes. This little game will show them what jewelry can do for their appearance!

Tell your guests that you are going to have an art contest, but this one will be different because they will have their eyes closed as they are drawing. Have them either turn over their Guest Registration Slips or get them a blank piece of paper. Now ask them to take one last look at their paper and close their eyes and not open them until you tell them to.

Tell them to do the following (you will be taking off your jewelry as they are drawing):

  1. Draw a picture of a girl in the center of your paper
  2. Put a dress on your girl
  3. Draw a pearl necklace around her neck
  4. Draw a purse in her right hand
  5. Draw dangle earrings on her
  6. Put a belt on her dress

After they have done all that, have them turn their paper over so they can’t see it and open their eyes. Before they look at their drawing, have them look up at you to see what is different. Once they realize you have no jewelry on, tell them you did this to show them the importance of a complete look by wearing jewelry! What a difference it can make in your appearance! Tell them they can turn over their drawings and laugh!

Give them points and for every point they will get a ticket (or play money) for a trip to your treasure chest of goodies.

1 point if the girl is in the center of the paper

1 point if they put hair on the girl

1 point if the necklace is around her neck

1 point if the purse is in her right hand

1 point if the earrings are at least touching her head
