Blaine Girls Basketball Booster Club Meeting

Call to order 7:10pm

Members in attendance: Mark Howe, Ann Teeportan, Rob Pearson, Melissa Hilger, Rachel Brazil, Joel Suave

  1. Minutes approved by Rachel and Ann
  2. Joel- Financials:
  3. Discussion on BBCC donation. Some years they are able to donate. We will ask for one this year.
  4. Banquet expenditure is the last big one.
  5. With the loss of the tournament our budget will still be fine. We don’t need to find an additional tournament.
  6. With less money raised through the PushSave app, we will have to lower the amount of money for the grab bag. Top will be $50 with low being $5.
  7. Ann- Website
  8. Question about Feb. 25th, we will need to find another venue or at least to just weights. This will be updated when we get info from Chris.
  9. Once job descriptions have been collected, this will get added to the website.
  10. Missy- Program/Advertising
  11. ECM has sent a check to Boosters for sales from the program.
  12. Lanaya- Special Events
  13. Parent night- Missy will get these to Ann
  14. Carbo load night is set for the 3rd.
  15. We have extra socks from Youth night, we can use these in another way.
  16. Mark-
  17. Luggage for Seniors is being looked for a deal. We typically spend $150 per senior.
  18. Elections of new board members should be done in January, but it is difficult to do that with the holidays. We will have this done in February. We need descriptions and send those out to parents. Mike T from the BBCC is interested in joining.
  19. Mark will attend the BBCC board meeting to discuss food and details of the girls youth tournament.
  20. Gopher game for JV/Varsity is Saturday.
  21. Joel- Staff appreciation
  22. Players should be working with teachers on this.
  23. Machelle and Missy will be helping
