24th August: Holiday program bookings open, bookings can be made by returning the booking form to Sharon, Eva or Leah at Biz-E-Kidz.
Friday 28th August: Holiday Program bookings close. Bookings can still be made after this date, but will be subject to availability and will not be eligible to be considered in the first round of priority of access.
Monday 31st August: Places in the holiday program or on the wait list will be mailed to families this week.
Friday 11th September: All holiday program deposits and before and aftercare fees are due to secure your holiday program booking.

Biz-E-Kidz Spring 2015 Holiday Program
Biz – E – Kidz aims to provide a relaxing, fun, social and stimulating environment for children to spend their holidays. We plan to provide a range of experiences to suit children of all ages, including themed in-house days, incursions of special visitors to the service, and excursions that are both educational and fun.
Operating Hours
The Holiday Program operates from 8am in the morning through to 6pm at night and includes breakfast (until 9am) morning and afternoon snack. Please ensure children bring a packed lunch and a hat every day
Split Excursion / Incursion days
Due to extremely high demand on excursion days, we will be running split excursion / incursions. In the past we have had to limit the amount of children we accept on excursion days to keep the excursions safe and affordable. We a trialing a structure where either the grades preps, 1s and 2s OR grade 3s, 4s, 5s and 6s children attend an excursion and the others an incursion at the service. This will ensure that we keep the children entertained, the excursions safe and accommodate the growing demand. We invite you to give us feedback about this so that we can best meet family’s needs. How to make a booking
Please fill out the following form and return it to the Coordinator Sharon or Assistant Coordinator Leah or Eva on or after Monday 24th August. Your booking will not be accepted if this form is left at the school office or with other staff.
Allocation of places
After you have you have submitted a booking application, Biz – E – Kidz will mail you a confirmation of a booking or place on the waiting list. Due to high demand, submitting an application is no guarantee of a place. Biz – E – Kidz allocates places according to the government guidelines for priority of access to childcare. A booking deposit of $10 per confirmed day per child is due by Friday 11th September to secure your booking. Please ensure that all of your before and aftercare fees are also up to date.
Fees and Childcare Benefits
The Holiday Program fee is $50 per child when we stay at the program (In-house), or $60 per child for excursion/incursion days. Childcare Benefits (CCB) apply. Please ensure your child/ren are registered for childcare benefits by providing Biz – E – Kidz with both parent and child’s Customer reference Numbers (CRN provided by the Family Assistance Office), dates of birth a copy of your most recent entitlement notice from Centrelink.
Making changes to your booking.
Subject to availability, any changes can be made to your holiday program booking up until Friday 11th September. To make a change, cancellation or book additional days, please see Sharon, Eva or Leah at Biz – E – Kidz or phone 9329 5529.
Any changes made after Friday 11th September will be subject to a $30 cancellation fee.

In case of an accident or sudden illness during the excursion, I authorise the OSHC Staff Member in charge to consent, where it is impracticable to communicate with me, to my child receiving such medical or surgical treatment as may be deemed necessary. A risk management plan has been developed for this excursion and is available for families to view on request. All Excursions are attended by either a minimum of 4 staff members or ratio of 8 children : 1 staff member in accordance with regulations.
