Clear Round to run all day, starting at 60cm and being raised to 90cm per round.

JUDGING:

Show jumping penalties will be added to cross country penalties including the seconds away from the Bogey time (XC). Lowest score to win.

CROSS COUNTRY:

Competitors will be eliminated after 3 refusals at one jump, after 4 refusals over whole course or 2 rider falls. Riders may only continue on the coursewith permission from a B & SC Official, Jump Judge or Steward.

SHOWJUMPING:

In Class 3 competitors eliminated show jumping will not be allowed to go cross country (excluding technical eliminations) In classes 1and 2continuation to cross country will be at the steward’sdiscretion.

From M3 jct 3. take A322 to Woking. At next roundabout take 1stturning signposted A319 to Chobham. Take 1st exit on next roundabout, then turn right onto Chertsey Road A319. Bear left onto Old Chertsey Road. The field is about a mile on the left. (Will be sign posted).

From M25, Junction 11 take the A320 signposted Woking.

At roundabout turn left A320 to Woking. At next roundabout turn right onto A319 and IMMEDIATELY right onto Foxhills Road.At the T-junction turn left onto Stonehill Road. The field is on the right hand side approximately 2 miles.

ENTRIES CLOSE: 2nd October 2017 or when class is full (Entries will be limited)

£10 Refundable bib deposit, payable on the day. When collecting your number please bring your hats and body protection for checking

Competitors may walk the course between 2pm - 5pm on Saturday 7th October 2017.

THE GATE WILL BE LOCKED AT 5PM

DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON LEADS AT ALL TIMES and please clean up after them.

A tack check will be in operation before each phase.

Competitors will show jump before cross country and times will begiven for both.

Rules and Conditions of Entry

  1. No horse may be entered in more than one class. No competitor may enter more than two horses.
  1. No Head Cams allowed.
  1. Correct riding attire to include hats to current pony club rules must be worn and fastened when mounted. Back protectors (with a BETA standard 3 at least 2009) are compulsory when on the cross country course and preferably should be worn when show jumping. No earrings/piercings or jewellery to be worn. If you have a skeleton key a spare must be left with the secretary.
  1. Medical Armbands are advised if a member is not accompanied by a responsible adult, but are not compulsory.
  1. Entry fees refunded only on production of doctor’s or veterinary certificate. A £5 admin fee will be deducted.
  1. Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
  1. Health & Safety: The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health & safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents and must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards.
  1. The judge’s decisions are final. Objections to be lodged with the secretaryin writingwithin 30 minutes, together with a deposit of £25.00.
  1. All non-Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party cover. The B&SC Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non- Members and their insurance will not cover you.
  1. All competitors must walk over the bridge during the cross country phase. Failure to do so will result in elimination!!!
  1. Misuse of whips or spurs or blatant bad language will incur elimination.
  1. Outside assistance will result in elimination.
  1. Pony Club members may only use spurs with written permission from their D.C.
  1. The organisers reserve the right to alter the timings of the phases and to retain £5 per entry in case of cancellation.
  1. PLEASE TAKE HOME ALL YOUR RUBBISH AND DO NOT MUCK OUT TRAILERS OR LORRIES ON TO THE FIELD
