Application Instructions

Qualifications

The minimum criteria shown below must be met to be considered for scholarship funds. Meeting the criteria only makes students eligible for consideration of scholarship funds and does not guarantee that funds will be received. Decisions regarding the award of scholarship funds are final and are not subject to appeal or further review.

  1. Student must be a current Birmingham area resident as reflected on Tuskegee University records.
  2. Student must be in good standing with Tuskegee University.
  3. Student must not have previously received funds from this scholarship.
  4. Student must not be a recipient of the scholarship annually awarded to a Birmingham area high school senior.
  5. Student must have a GPA of 2.0 or greater.
  6. Student awarded funds from this scholarship must visit the Alumni Affairs Office and join the Tuskegee University Pre-Alumni Club.
