Biography Cereal Box Project

Due Monday, May 10th

DIRECTIONS: Sometimes famous athletes get their picture on the cover of a cereal box. Why can’t other people who made a difference? Now’s your chance! You get to design a new cereal and box for the famous person that you are studying.

Please cover an empty cereal box with wrapping paper and include the following:

FRONT COVER

  1. Name- Cereal name in big, bold letters. Be creative. Think of something that goes with your person. For example: Rosa Parks might have “Freedom-O’s” or maybe the Wright Brothers would have “Frosted Flight Flakes.”
  2. Include a picture of your famous person and his or her name.
  3. Prizes-Some cereal boxes have prizes. Include an ad for a prize that represents your person. For example: Rosa Parks might have a toy bus, because she boycotted the buses or the Wright Brothers might have a plane.

Include 3-4 selling points. Use adjectives or nouns that represent your famous person.

  1. Slogan- At the bottom, include a slogan. For example: Rosa Parks’ cereal might be “The breakfast of equality!” or the Wright Brothers might have “The breakfast that will help you take flight!”
