NOTICE
WE HAVE CHANGED THE LOCATION
OF OUR GROUNDS. WE HAVE MOVED
FROM THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE MAIN
DIRT ROAD TO THE NORTH SIDE.
Grounds: The Field Trial grounds are located west of Bernardo, New Mexico. Bernardo is between Belen and Socorro on Interstate 25 at Exit 175. Take the Exit 175 ramp to Kiva RV Park on the west side of I-25 and continue south on the access road for 1.5 miles, then at the T intersection, turn right (West) on the dirt road and continue for 7.2 miles. Turn right immediately after crossing the cattle guard. From cattle guard proceed 0.7 miles to the Field Trial camp grounds.
BIG RIGS: Please be careful turning at the cattle guard.

Camping: Camping will be allowed in designated areas on the Field Trial Grounds. Please carry off all of your trash. Toilet facilities will be provided. Water for dogs and horses will be available. Please bring drinking water for yourself.
Food: Lunch provided – Donations always appreciated
Hotels: Belen, NM is about 20 minutes north and Socorro is about 25 minutes south of the Field Trial grounds, or Kiva RV Park and Horse Motel (505-861-0693)
Spectators are welcome.

COURSES AND BIRDS

Birds will be Chukar and / or Quail. Birds will be released in all stakes except Puppy stakes. A blank cartridge will not be fired in puppy stakes. All stakes will be single course without a bird field.

NOTICE

The CNMBC is providing a micro-chip program which will be available at the Field Trial grounds. They are the AKC CAR (Companion Animal Recovery) Chips. This is a lifetime enrollment with no additional fees to update your information. The chips are $30.00 including the registration fee. Interested people should come prepared with all the contact information (name, address, home, work and cell phone numbers, and email address) for the owner, a backup contact and their regular veterinarian. Questions should be directed to Denise Soon at (505) 362-3002. Reservations are highly recommended.

This Field Trial is being run as a “Flexible Format” event. Entries will be limited to the number of dogs that can be run during all available daylight hours, and entries will close when the limit is reached, even if this occurs prior to the official closing date. The Club / Field Trial Committee reserves the right to rearrange the running order of the stakes, and / or add, rearrange, or substitute judges, and / or add, delete, or change courses, if conditions warrant.

I certify that I am the actual owner of the dog, or that I am the duly authorized agent of the actual owner whose name I have entered above. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I (we) agree to abide by the rules and regulations of The American Kennel Club in effect at the time of this event, and any additional rules and regulations appearing in the premium list of this event and entry form and any decision made in accord with them. I (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog.
