The conference call meeting scheduled for August was cancelled due to the GETAC meeting in Austin and the impending birth of Marlee Puckett’s son.
The agenda was emailed to all executive committee members. Only those listed above responded to the email. A quorum was not met; and, therefore, no official business could be conducted.
Minutes from July meeting will need to be approved during September 2014 conference call.
Financial Review –
EMS/RAC $ 1,385.89
EMS County 7,503.49
Tobacco $ 1,583.14
Dues Account $ 6,455.25
Grant Review –EMS County – Everything has been completed for the EMS County funds. At the time this agenda was printed PK Westlake and Anson EMS had not deposited checks. Marlee sent an email requesting these funds be deposited so she can complete the report. The 2014-15 contract has been received.
EMS RAC –These funds have been exhausted; and monies have been moved from other accounts until the funds are received from the State. These borrowed funds will then be put back into the appropriate accounts.
Tobacco –All disbursements have been received. Each eligible provider received an additional $200 disbursement. These checks have been mailed; but final report cannot be mailed until all checks are deposited and clear the bank. Marlee has sent emails requesting these checks be deposited ASAP.
Project Rescue Me – Everything in place with Fisher County Sheriff’s Office.
Committee Review – Bylaw committee (David Allman and Sarah Shaw) will notify Marlee of any needed changes prior to the October meeting.
Trauma Plan has been reviewed, approved and is posted on the website.PI Committee –
STEMI – The STEMI committee is working to complete the requirements for the CVD Program:

8/15/2014 RAC Transport Plan – completed
8/15/2014 Update on stroke education programming – completed

10/15/2014 Final Report on CVD related activities
Open Forum – The compliance report is complete as posted on the website.
The Membership Application and Needs Assessment is posted on the website under required documents. Everyone needs to fill these out and return to Marlee before September 1, 2014. EMS providers MUST also complete the Affidavit Acknowledging Utilization of RAC Protocols.
