Executive Committee And Reception Attenders

Sessions:The Conference Executive Committee meeting from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. (Arts & Sciences 2-51)

Parking:A parking pass is available on the website that authorizes you to park in any campus space (other than those spots for the handicapped or those spots individually reserved with a sign such as “Reserved for Service Vehicle” or “Reserved for Director of X”). In addition, there is city parking on the street – some of which is two hour parking. A campus parking map is available on the website (see the top of the page) Lots 18, 26, 12L, and 12S are likely the most convenient campus parking. Overflow parking in lot 28 on the campus perimeter is supported by a shuttle service.

Reception: The Georgia Conference may be hosting a reception at the hotel from 6:00-6:50 (not yet certain).

AAUP Members, Other Faculty, and Guests

Where:The Saturday session is in the Pat Peterson Museum Education Room located in the Library. The Library building is located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Montgomery and Clarke Streets. You will want to use the Clarke Street entrance to access this room. Once inside, the room is toyour right.

Check-in:A continental breakfast and check-in from 9:00am to 10:00am. Please register by completing the on-line survey (available on webpage) so that we can ensure a sufficient amount of food is available to accommodate all participants.

GCSU Smoking Policy: Smoking of any material is prohibited in all enclosed areas of Georgia College, including hallways, elevators, offices, restrooms, seminar/meeting rooms, and all other spaces owned or leased by the University System of Georgia (USG). Smoking is also prohibited in any outside areas adjacent to a university facility whose configuration and/or other physical circumstances allow smoke either to enter and affect the internal environment or to adversely affect the environment of those entering or exiting the facility. It is further established that all outside constituents visiting the agency for any reason will consent to this policy as well.Lighted tobacco products may be used only in the areas designated in red on the smoking map. Smoking is restricted primarily to university parking lots, with the exception of the lot outside Parks Hall, and to a few additional designated areas such as the garden space behind Parks Hall and small areas outside Russell Auditorium, the library and Bell Hall.
