Books to buy:

The coursebook is Nouveau Taxi! 1, you can buy it on the campusin thebookshop «La Fontaine» in the Rolex Learning Center), if you don’t want to buy it, please make photocopies so that you can follow the course and do the homework.

The workbook Nouveau Taxi! 1 (cahier d’exercices) is useful for extra practice at home (vocabulary and grammar for instance). You can buy it or use one in the multimedia centre.

The European language portfolio is used as a record of your language learning and will help you to assess your progress in French learning (it is used at all levels and in all the courses of the centre de langues, for more information, look for the presentation on PlurieL).

Absence

In case of absence, please send an e-mail to your teacher! Two non-excused absences result in exclusion from the course.

Personal work

Doing homework, learning vocabulary, verbs, etc., and writing small texts are very important in order to progress. Why not work in a group with other people of the class, as it is more motivating than working alone!

The multimedia centre is also very useful for grammar drills, vocabulary, extra listening exercises, pronunciation, etc.

Tests

There is no exam at the end of the semester, but I expect regular work and participation from students! There will be small tests, 2-3 small pieces of writing, listening and speaking exercises throughout the semester.

If you have any question, please do not hesitate to ask ,

I’m always ready to help!
