COLLECT FOR TODAY

Almighty God, whose Son revealed in signs and miracles the wonder of your saving presence: renew your people with your heavenly grace, and in all our weakness sustain us by your mighty power; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen

NOTICES… NEWS… EVENTS…

Forty Green and Knotty Green: The next get-together will be on Monday 29 January at 8pm (hopefully at the reopened Red Lion – if not there it will be at the Royal Standard). All are welcome.

Christian Book Club meets again on Monday 19 February. The book for discussion will be “Speaking of Jesus, the art of non-Evangelism” by Carl Medearls. The group normally meets on the 2nd Monday of the month at the Vicarage at 7.30pm, but February would clash with half term so we are meeting the following week (19 February) at Zoe’s. Contact Zoe on 671961. Our Lent book will be “The Heart’s Time: A poem a day from Lent to Easter” by Jane Morley. As Lent starts on 14 February this year before our next meeting, Zoe is giving advanced warning for this one.

Amersham Deanery Pilgrimage to the Oberammergau Passion Play is on www.amershamdeanery.org.uk/oberammergau.html. They will shortly be adding the colour brochure from Tailored Travel. These brochures are now in both Churches.

Horse and Jockey Monthly Lunch: The next one will be on Sunday 28 January. It is very helpful if you let the office (813254) know if you are coming so that the pub can have some idea of numbers. All are welcome.

Holy Trinity Cleaning Rota: Pat Seddon (813268) would be enormously grateful to hear from anyone who might be able to join the cleaning team, as one or two have had to drop out.
