Beverage Blender/Roaster & Quality Checker

PURPOSE
  • Why does the job exist?
/ To assist with the production of all beverage products and quality check these products to ensure they are in line with or exceed all specifications and legal obligations.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. To ensure that Booths products are as good as or better than any like for like product in our competitors.
  2. Work with Booths technical colleagues to ensure all processes are fully compliant with specification & legislation including the regulations that affect the production of organic product.
  3. Be prepared to learn the skills required to become an auditor of beverage product suppliers.
  4. Checking all raw materials against specifications and record all relevant information.
  5. To ensure that the equipment operation is in line with the department Health & Safety risk assessments and SOP’s.
  6. Be responsible for training colleagues how to assess products.
  7. Research new ideas and new product / equipment concepts.
  8. Work with Booths buyers to ensure that the products we are producing are in line with their expectations and that together we are growing the beverage category.
  9. Be prepared to undertake any other duties within the department as reasonably directed by management in the interests of customer service or business efficiency.
  10. To demonstrate and role model the Booths values.
