Bond 2017 (Mr. Hatch): If you are not registered to vote, please make sure you register.
Safety Report (Pat Ayala): We will be having a fire drill and a reverse evacuation. Last fire drill time was 2:17
Accountability: Fall Benchmark dates-November 6th-4th grade Writing and 5th grade Science/November 7th- 3rd, 4th,5th grade Math/ November 8th- 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade Reading
Tutoring: Needs to be purposeful and focused on student needs. Make sure you know what each students needs are. Every student may need something to focus on. Teacher needs to know what the focus is.
Terrific Kid: Terrific kid was changed from November 2nd instead of November 3rd.
Weekly Newsletter/Monday Memo: Saturday evening is the deadline for any information that we need to include on the weekly newsletter
Attendance: Class with the best attendance gets to do something crazy to the Principal as an incentive
Instructional rounds: November 7th-Topic will focus on blended learning and use of technology in the classroom
Sunshine committee vote: Voting turnout was a NO. We will not be having a sunshine committee.
Veteran’s day parade (Darlene Chavez): Preparation is going well. We are on track with planning for parade.
Buddy benches: Popcorn fundraiser money will be used to purchase buddy benches to put out in the playground.
Upcoming events:
- Career Day (October 25)
- PE Frutiki fundraiser-after campus wide fundraiser
- Fall festival was rescheduled to October 27th
- Parent teacher conference was rescheduled to November 2nd
- Red Ribbon Week- (October 23-27)
- Veterans day parade- November 9th
- Shirting ceremony: Is to be determined, but will take place sometime after we come back from intersession.
- Lock in: Scheduled for November 17th
- Dances: AttenDANCE will be on September 27th and Halloween dance will be on October 31.
- Faculty Christmas Party: Is scheduled for December 15th. Please ask your grade level if they want a party at a hall like the past years or just lunch at a restaurant.
- Thanksgiving lunch: Will be on November 15th and 16th and there will be a dance presentation for parents.
- Intersession: From October 2nd to October 13th-In order to receive lunch services, we need at least 100 students the first week of intersession. The first week will be focused on interventions. Second week will be for Robotics.
Other information and dates: College tiles are due on November 16th. Fall festival vendor tables will $25 a table. Fall festival money has to be spent by December.
