SHOW RULES AND REGULATIONS
IT IS THE DUTY OF THE EXHIBITORS TO FOLLOW THE JUDGING ORDER AND BE PRESENT IN THE RING WHEN THE BREED CALLED AND THE CLUB WILL NOT CALL
OUT INDIVIDUAL NUMBERS. THE CLUB MAY OR MAY NOT USE THE PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEM.
ELIGIBILITY: Only dogs registered with Kennel Club of India may compete. Please see regulation No. 3 of KCI for shows.Monoorchid and Cryptorchid dogs will not be allowed to compete, No. “RAF” ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED
Exhibitors should make themselves familiar with the KCI rules and regulations for the shows, copies of which maybe obtained from the Secretary KCI on Payment. Exhibitors are cautioned that an entry in the wrong class/breed will disqualify the exhibit. Exhibitors will have to follow the order of judging and make themselves available in the waiting ring at the time judging of their classes. The club will not be held responsible if exhibitors are absent from the ring when their class is being judged. Announcement of Exhibit Numbers may or may not be done at the show ground for calling Exhibitors in the ring.
Filling of Entry Form: Only one entry form to be filled. A separate Single Dog Entry Detail Slip is provided. All details have to be given. If you need more forms you can use Xerox copies.
CAUTION: The committee reserves the right to exclude any entry if may think fit to exclude.
ENFORCEMENT & AMENDMENT OF THE RULES: The decision of the show committee shall be final and is binding subject and only to appeal to the KCI. Should questions arise, which are not provided in the rules, the committee’s decision will be final. Any breach of then rules of KCI regulations will be render the exhibitor liable to disciplinary action by the committee. Exhibitors are also liable for any damage done by them or their servants or by their dogs. The committee reserves the right to refuse or accept any entry without assigning any reason whatsoever.
VETERINARY EXAMINATION: All dogs must be certified fit by the Veterinary Doctors of the show. There will be counters on the show ground for this purpose. Dogs will be allowed in the
ring only after Veterinary examination.
CHALLENGE CERTIFICATE: Challenge Certificates and Reserve Challenge Certificates will be awarded at the show. All Indian Breeds are eligible for C.C’s & R.C.C. ‘S
JUDGES:Should any judge be prevented from fulfilling his engagements, the Committee reserves the right of appointinganother Judge in his/her place.
PENALTY:All wilfull misrepresentation regarding name, age, Registration number, Ownership, Pedigree etc. of dogs entered and or prepared for exhibition in contravention of the KCI regulations, will be liable for disciplinary action by the committee.
Unbeaten puppies entered in Puppy class will be eligible to compete for the “Best Puppy in Show” award Champion Puppies entered in Champion Class is also allowed to compete for Best Puppy in Show.
All exhibits with unknown parentage will not be allowed to compete for the “Best in Show Breed in India” award. Objections will be decided by the committee in accordance with the KCI regulations. The Objection fee is Rs. 1000/- returnable if theobjection is upheld by the show committee. If turned down the fee will be forfeited.
PRIZES & AWARDS:Best of Breed and Best opposite Sex awards will be handed over in the ring itself. Please collect the prizes immediately after winning from the official ring side table.
The Club shall strictly enforce the KCI rules such as exhibitors cannot wear T-shirts
with their Kennel Name or Logo. If someone is found drunk or misbehaving in the
show premises, the Club will take strict action and will report such incidents to KCI.
