Health Care Provider and Faith Diversity: First Draft

In the current, nursing care is known as one of the most important activities of the health care sector that mainly focus on the care of families, society, individuals and the communities in an effective and proper manner. Along with this, it should also be noted down that, the main aim or objective behind the nursing care is to maintain, recover as well as recover optimal health and quality of life effectively. At the same time, it is also found that, in today’s more complicated scenario, nursing care protects, promotes and optimizes abilities as well as health. Generally, this statement clearly indicates that nursing care is all about the patient care of individuals, groups or communities.

On the other hand, it is also analyzed that, the health care practice workers at all levels to bring individual into contact with people of a diversity of trusts. This calls for recognition of a[GS1] assortment of trust expressions. In addition, to this, in this paper, three diverse faiths will be analyzed or researched effectively in order to fully achieve the associated outcomes of this research paper. Generally, Native American spirituality, Buddhism and Sikhism faiths would be analyzed. Finally, a comparison analysis would also be conducted in order to know their philosophy. At the same time, it is also found that, these faiths that are less well-known than majority faiths or are less identified.

Buddhism Perspective about Patient care

In the current, Buddhist care practice considers the concepts of mutually, principle practice and meditation practice. For example, the main objective of precept practice is the transformation of speech and action in an effective and proper manner. On the other hand, the key goal of meditation practice is the transformation of consciousness (Hanh, 2011). At the same time, it is also found that, Buddhism philosophy believed that on the earth all the human beings are equal or one and all are together. In the same manner, each and every person should be entitled to the same care regardless of differences in economic status, employment, age, health, or any other factor, and regardless of whether they are a citizen or a resident, temporary or permanent, documented or undocumented. [GS2]

Along with this, by taking an example of Buddhism perspective on the care of patients, KHS (Karuna Hospice Service) is known as a community-based organization that is presently in the Brisbane. In addition to this, this organization is offering more comprehensive as well as effective home care services for the individuals or society (Keown, 2005). Along with this, it is also analyzed that, this organization is also offering full hospice-at-home service, with expert nursing, counseling and respite care. In addition, nursing care facilities are provided by this organization on a 24-hour, seven-days-a-week basis.

In the same manner, the management team of this organization also cares for children as well as adults effectively. In contrast the Christian perspective also supports the views of Buddhism about the health care of patients. The Christian perspective also believed that, hospital as well as care organization should only focus on the care of patients at the optimal level (Mauk & Schmidt, 2004). But, as per my opinion, today, the patient care is considered by the organizations a business activity. I think they should remove these kinds of felling and emphasize only on the health care facilities of the patients.

Sikh Perspective Patient about Patient care

According to the Sikh perspective on the health care, health care providers should understand the beliefs and religious preferences of their patients in order to provide optimal care. Along with this, the health care provider should also communicate in an effective and proper manner with those who are totally involved in the decision-making process (Cohen & Deliens, 2012). At the same time, the Sikhism perspective also believed that, human being should also accept their loved one's disease state. In addition, the medical staff of the organization should also take care of the family's needs of the patient beyond the medical aspects.

On the other hand, Sikh also believes that, the staff of the organization should also understand the feelings of the patient care by understanding the financial problems of the patients (Cobb, PuchalskiRumbold, 2012). Hence, it is identified that, Sikhism philosophy believes on the care of patients effectively. I think that the Christian perspective is similar to the Sikh perspective on the health care. It is because, as per the Christian perspective, the main aim of health organization is to offer high quality care to the patient in an effective and proper manner.

Native American Perspective about Patient care

Native American Perspective for patient care describes that the care provider should expand a conceptual framework in order to discover area of culturally expert care from the patient’s view. On the other hand, the Native American perspective also review the salient issues & current knowledge and also converse the policy as well as research implications to offer the care to the patients in an effective & appropriate manner (Cohen & Deliens, 2012). Along with this, the health care providers & health systems should frequently scrutinize their patient populations via quantitative & qualitative data collection techniques. In addition, the health care providers should observe issues that persuade patient–provider communications between diverse racial and ethnic groups.

In the same manner, the Native American perspective view expresses that the care providers should explore patients advisory models of their common diseases as well as health related values& preferences. In addition, it also offers the analysis to estimate the factors that influence patient’s faith in their providers (Andrews & Boyle, 2008). Health care providers should extend open channels of communication and also allow patients to verbalize about issues disturbing their trust in an appropriate manner. Along with this, the Native American perspective also suggests that providers should aware about the racial & ethnic minority patients might identify inequity or partiality in the health care system.

At the same time, this perspective also offers opportunities to patients to vote their disquiets about discrimination. Additionally, the health care provides should assemble data on their patients’ health literacy as well as English aptitude as part of the certification process. This perspective also advises that health care provides should be rewarded in order to recover services for the patients in an appropriate & significant manner (Joe & Gachupin, 2012). In this way, the Native American perspective also plays a significant role to provide the needed services to the patients on the regular basis. With the help of this perspective, the healthcare providers also perform their roles & responsibilities in an effective and appropriate manner.

Conclusion

From the above discussion, it can be concluded that, there are different perspective of different religion about the health care or patient care of patients. But, there is only one aim behind all the prospective that is to offer and provide quality service for the health of the patient. On the other hand, it is also found that, in the current, health organization must provide quality service to save the life of patients. In addition, they should also I understand the feelings as well as financial problems of the patients. So they can improve the quality of patient care.

Hi Divya,

Let’s review the rubric requirements:

Christianity and selected faith are present and all of the worldview questions are addressed.

Comparative Analysis of the Different Belief Systems

A comparative analysis of the different belief systems, reinforcing major themes with insights gained from your research, shows a deep understanding of the connections.

Spiritual Perspective on Healing

A description of spiritual perspective is not present. A paragraph specific to the topic would have helped.

This is good work. However, you were short on all but two rubric requirements which accounts for the word count of 1,346 words that is below the 1,500 minimum. Make sure to read the rubric to see what is required so you can fulfill all requirements. You had a Turnitin score of 19%, which is close to the GCU maximum of 20%. Take note of my side comment. You also had one minor spelling error.
