John. 15:5, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing”. (NIV)

The heart of the Christian life is ______more like Jesus.

The Ultimate Self-Assessment Question for Healthy Spiritual Growth is this:

“Are my beliefs, spiritual practices, and current way of life leading me into ______love for God and for others?”

Mark 12:28-31, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?” “The most important one,” answered Jesus, ‘is this: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” (NIV)

1 Corinthians 13:3b, “No matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love”. (MSG)

Key Question: “What does it mean to sacrificially, and ______love others?”

Key Idea: I am committed to loving God and loving others.
