So you want to start learning abilities? Firstyou willhave to makechanges in your routines.You will need a few things, and these are: Meditation, Concentration and Dedication.And to practice these things you may need an hour or two out of your day if that is possible.

But later on we will talk more about time and schedules.

These few things despite their varying simplicity will need to be or is recommended to be scheduled on a regular basic to give the best results to the other training that you are doing.

There may also be other things you would wish to develop or achieve in order to aid reaching your goal of abilities. If so then there are two things that are used like this. The first is Energy Manipulation and the other is the main Chakras.

Energy Manipulation is like the godfather of Kinetic abilities and this is very highly recommended to be trained before even attempting to train a Kinesis. This would be because you need to first familiarise yourself with your own and surrounding energies, knowing how to absorb it, move it and use it. These are the basic steps for energy.

The second is Chakra. Opening each individual chakra has different health benefits but none more helpful than the Brow chakra, aka Third eye chakra. This is the psychic chakra directly linked to our intuition and visualization skills. Now whilst this is also highly recommended to be opened and developed you must gradually open each chakra together so there is not a disharmonic imbalance.

But after opening and developing this chakra one can expect to have a major increase in power and even see the energy that they use, which being usually invisible to the naked eye is pretty impressive.

Basics - Meditation

Meditation is great to connect to your inner self or for concentration that would be effective when training abilities.It has proven to be beneficial to health by lowering blood pressure, increasing attention span, memory, intelligence and relieving stress.Here are the basics:

Sit comfortably, close your eyes, relax and breathe. You are sitting, think of only your breathing. Now, concentrate. The objective of meditation is to imagine. Image what you like to accomplish. You can increase your willpower through meditation. Better yet, visualize yourself what you want in life. What are you doing? What does success look like? Picture it with as many details as possible.

There are types of majormeditation:

  • Focus: This is mainly used to further self-control. In this meditation, you focus on one goal and use an object or other to never let your mind stray.
  • Blank-mind: This is used in rituals, recreational use and for astral projection. In this you completely clear your mind in order to promote introspection.

In-depth on Focus Meditation:

This is essential for Psionics. It requires adeep concentration, and it greatly increases your self-control, especially forPsionics. It is wise to choose something that would attract your attention.

Focus meditation technique:

  • For the best effects, take a candle in a dark room and place it where it will not damage your eyes. Becomecomfortable, and removeall distractions. Do not strain your eyes, for it is not focus of the eyes but of the mind that is essential here. Wash away any thoughts. If your attention strays, simply correct it.
  • After focusing for about 45-60 minutes, you will begin to fall into a state of relaxation. Then you should start feeling buzzing or vibrating sensations. Allow them to bloom, enveloping you and taking you into even deeper meditative states.
  • As you come awake, slowly increase your awareness. Take slow, breaths, and allow thoughts to enter your mind. Ground your excess energy and return yourself to full awareness.

In-Depth on Blank-Mind Meditation:

This is a spiritual practice, and helps you to not only ponder the problems, but to fix them. By regularly practicing this you will further your energy system and stimulate your kundalini over time.

Blank-mind meditation technique:

Sit in a dim room, free of distractions, and close your eyes. Breathe in through your nose, and out through your mouth. It also helps to sit with a straight back and your hands on the opposite legs. Try to sit in the lotus position, but remember to be comfortable.

Do not allow thoughts to enter your mind.Maintain an even, consecutive breathing pattern and focus on the black behind your eyelids, only to aid your relaxation in the beginning. As you progress into deeper states of meditation, let your mind slip from awareness.

While in deep states, time will pass quickly, but don’t rush. Take your time to revel in this freedom. When you feel you have been in this state forenough time, remind yourself of your breathing, allow thoughts to your mind, and think about where you are. Open your eyes and rise in your own time.

Energy Manipulation, what is this?This is the ability to manipulate energies. It is considered a basic ability that can be achieved with practice and mastered with extended practice and dedication.

What energies are there?Don’t worry about what energy. This is because there are many theories about energy, with some believing they are the sameenergy and others believe they are different. Two examples that I shall coverare: the energies of Qi and Psi.

Qiis life energy that in Chinese philosophy is thought to flow in all living things. As it is constantly used it is moving around and replenishing itself. But one must take care in using this as some believe if you use too much you will die. This is based on the idea that Qi being your life energy, if you use too much then it will run out.Be careful but do not be worried about this idea.

Psi describesa kind of "energy" that supports our abilities. Psi can be drawn from anything around you. I believe there is a form of electro-magnetic energy that contains information. This is responsible for imprints psychometrics can read, the auras that people can see, the ability for thoughts to be transferred, everything. Psi is energy produced as a by-product of the human nervous system

How do you do this? Energy is everywhere and everything. But before we can tap into that energy there are three things that you need to obtain. These are as follows:

Patience

This is a useful skill even for life in general. It is a skill often overlooked by modern society. Because of this, many find it hard to slow down, take a few deep breaths and appreciate the moment.

Visualization

This is an essential skill needed for energy manipulation.It allows us to ‘command’ the energy we wish to use, with greater ease than using will alone. By using visualization, we enable ourselves to bypass the conscious effort of manipulating energy, and it is subsequently taken over by our sub-conscious. This allows the consciousdirectionof energy, whilst the sub-conscious handles the application of energy.

Sensory Attunement

This focuses on enhancing your ability to perceive your environment. This means that you will be training the same sense that is triggered when you feel you’re being watched. By harnessing this sense, it will be easier to manipulate and detect energy.

Lesson 1 - Awareness of the energy(Level 1 Energy Sensing)

Start by holding out your hand. Take a few deep breathes as you would in a meditation. Close your eyes and see the energy flowing into your finger tips. If you are doing this correctly, you should feel a slight tingling sensation or warmth. Once you have successfully completed this to your satisfactionproceed to Lesson 2.

Lesson 2 - Extracting energy (Level 1 Energy Absorption)

Taking energy is the first thing you will learn. This is mainly used for charging yourself, and storing energy at this stage. It is also used as a focal point, but this will be learnt about in the next lesson.

Hold your hand over an object, preferably an elemental. This is not a necessity but it will make things easier for the first timers. Now, visualize the energy flowing into your hand from the object, like a stream. If you are doing this correctly, you will be experiencing a kind of 'charging' sensation. Now move to Lesson 3.

Lesson 3 - Releasing energy(Level 1 Energy Release)

Now that you can extract energy, it is important to know how to release it. If you take too much you will become overcharged, imbalanced or hyper.

For this reason, you will be giving out energy rather than extracting it. Let the energy flow from your body, feel it leave.You should feel a slight change, similar to after meditation. You may also experience a loss of sensation, and will probably feel like you have 'discharged' the energy as a wave of energy leaves your body.

Lesson 4 – Basic Energy Balls(Level 1 PSI Balls)

These are the key to energy manipulation. Using energy balls, energy can be transported in quantities, over distances or just for fun.Hold your hands apart, like holding a basketball. Now use the mentioned technique to project energy into a swirling mass in between your hands. Allow this to grow, as you inject more energy.You may notice various things, such as viscosity, magnetic forces, and sensations. If you do, congratulations, you've created your first energy ball.

Lesson 5 – Protection and Defence

In the past, energy has been used for protection. This ranges from ceremonial rituals, to household superstitions. In this lesson, you will learn ways to use energy to protect yourself.

The Egg Technique(Level 1 Egg Shell):This techniquecomprises of creating a shell around you or an object. This shell will be used to deflect or absorb negative energy.Here you have a few choices.

The Energy Ball Method:Using the energy ball creation method mentioned in the previous lesson, create a focal point for energy.

The Chakra Method (Level 1 Energy Chakra Focus): Create a focal point at one of your many chakras

Reflection shell: (Level 1 Reflection Shell): Visualize the shell becoming shiny and reflective.The purpose of the shell is to 'reflect back' energy. This will literally bounce energy back.

Refraction shell: (Level 2 Reflection Shell): Visualize the shell becoming murky and blurred. This shell is most used when you do not wish to send energy back to its origin.

The Layer effect (Level 1 Layer Effect): This involves creating multiple shells, like a Russian doll. Each shell may have a different purpose. But due to the continuous impact on energy around you, this may result in Energetic Burnout.

The Absorbing Shell (Level 2 Absorption): Visualise the shell taking it the energy and converting it. The absorbing shell takes energy, and uses it for the desired purpose.

Making a Energy Ball

Choose an energy source to draw your energy from for this technique. Feel energy from that source flowing into you and charging you. Now your aim is to draw out that energy and direct it out your hands in a few simple steps. After putting your hands close together as if you were holding a large tennis ball, visualise energy flowing out of your hands and swirling in the airspace between your hands.

Keep adding to the mass, build it up as much as you can. Then when you decide it is enough you can start forming it into a ball shape. You can do this by visualising the energy mass between your hands condensing into a tight ball shape, or you could consciously form it yourself with will and concentration.

Do you feel any sensations? A few common sensations for this are: temperature and tingling. You may also be able to see a fluctuation in the air where the energy ball should be or feel it getting heavier.

Absorbing Energy

Energy being everything and everywhere can be absorbed from many things, living or not. For someone who wants to use it for an elemental kinesis then it is best to absorb that element’s energy.

For example if you want to learn Hydrokinesis then you would absorb energy from the water. This makes you more alike to water and its energy, allowing you to manipulate it more easily.

Elemental Energy Ball

This is very simple. It is a lot like a normal energy ball apart from using energy from an elemental source. Usually used in kinesis or to familiarize oneself with that particular element before kinesis.

So first choose your elemental source and draw energy out of it and absorb it. Then draw it out and do the regular energy ball technique. Only this time imagine your energy to be like that element so that energy ball is also similar. For example a fire ball may be hot or with an electric ball you may see sparks.

Basics - Chakra Energy

What are Chakras?Chakras are energy centres and each organ, gland and system in the body is connected to a certain chakra and these chakras to a colour frequency vibration. Their name derives from the Sanskrit word for ‘wheel’. This is because a chakra is a vortex that whirls clockwise forming a vacuum that draws in anything on its vibrational level. There are several vibrational levels: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.The seven main chakras which I will talk about in this article are all aligned from low to high along the spinal column. And these are the chakras:

Where are these Chakras?

The first chakra is called the Root Chakra which is located at the base of the spine and is associated with the colour Red.

The second chakra is called the Spleen Chakra which is located below the navel and is associated with the colour Orange.

The third chakra is called the Solar Plexus Chakra which is located between the ribcage and thenavel and is associated with the colour Yellow.

The fourth chakra is called the Heart Chakra which is located at the centre of your chest and is associated with the colour Green.

The fifth chakra is called the Throat Chakra which is located at the throat and is associated with the colour Blue.

The sixth chakra is called the Brow Chakra which is located at the centre of the forehead and is associated with the colour Indigo.

The seventh chakra is the Crown Chakra which is located at the top of the head and is associated with the colour Violet.

How do you open them?

Visualise them as flowers and spin them clockwise opening to reveal vibrant colours. To develop them visualise them as orbs and spin them clockwise, absorbing pure high vibrations and discarding low vibrations. They should grow brighter and more vivid.

How do you make a Chakra ball?

To activate the palm chakras one must rub their hands together until there is friction then move them apart. Do you feeling any sort of sensation? Tingling? Warmth? If so then it has worked.

Visualise a sphere of energy in your solar plexus chakra and then visualise it turning into a gas or liquid.Move this energy up your body to your 4th chakra before splitting it down either arm. Send portions of your energy down both your arms and into your arms. Then as you do these cup your hands.

Move the energy out of your hands through your palm chakras and form the energy into a ball between your hands. Add energy to it, condense it. Another effect you could use to make it stronger is to visualise it turn from gas to solid or the liquid form freezing into ice.

Root Chakra: Exercising, Eating red foods, drinking red drinks, Red Juniper, Sandalwood, Red clothes, Red stones.

Sacral Chakra: Cooking, taking baths, eating orange foods, drinking orange drinks, orange clothes, orange stones.

Solar Plexus Chakra: Taking classes, reading books, mind puzzles, eating yellow foods, drinking yellow drinks, rosemary, lemon, yellow clothes, yellow stones.
