JOB DESCRIPTION: Technical Services Operations Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Tasks / Target
Training:
q  Administrate the initial contact with clients regarding training interest
q  Client follow up post training event
q  Organisation of travel schedules
q  Organisation of vaccinations required prior to travel
q  Translation work and modification for training and promotional materials
q  Assist trainers with the required training documentation and materials before and after an event
q  Daily review of the FCO site, WHO and other media related sources to establish hot spot areas in our training locations
q  Together with the training coordinator produce quotations/purchase orders/invoices to clients
q  Technical training department administration in general covering over clients for TGS, APV, Fleet management
q  Assist with the Technical training Facebook page by up loading information
q  Any other duties deemed necessary by Technical Services/Technical Training/Fleet Management
Fleet management:
q  Technical support – setup details for each client account
q  Involved in the technical process – development of new material, involved in the physical tests for the material (idling/ID fob etc.)
q  Work on the refresh of the technical manuals for installation of GSM and Hybrid units.
q  Follow up WebEx done by area managers to client to present the software
q  Follow up of client accounts (BAPS: order – ETA)
q  Activation of client accounts on the field
q  Follow up on the price updates (flyers information to team)
q  Follow up on the flyers for communication
q  Follow up on the update on Bands with SIM cards and list of partners for installation in countries
q  Terramar report for TGS and Terramar
q  Involved in the discussions and follow-up with Terramar (pricing, new device, branding etc.)
q  Involvement with research and development for BAG / Follow up daily

PERSON SPECIFICATION

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIEMENTS:
q  Working in a customer focused environment
q  Fully conversant with Microsoft packages e.g. word, outlook, excel and Microsoft Access
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
q  Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent which must include English Language and Mathematics or equivalent.
q  Must be very familiar with Microsoft packages
q  Fluent in English
q  Fluent in French and/or German would be an advantage
