DAY 1 - Basic Statistical Ideas

DAY 2 - Further Inference and introduction to Regression

S4 / 9.30 -10.30 / Ideas of a significance test: one-sample t-test, interpreting p-values, one and two-sided tests. (SA).

DAY 3 - Introduction to Experimental Design and ANOVA

P8 / 9.30 -10.30 / The experimental game "MICE" to illustrate basic ideas of experimental design. Playing the game and simple analysis on Genstat. (SA).
S8 / 10.30 - 11.00 / Discussion of "MICE" design ideas. (SA).

S9 / 11.30 -12.30 / Using "MICE" data to introduce the one-way analysis of variance. (SA).
