Conic Sections Project – Period _____

This project requires you to find pictures of at least 10 everyday objects that are examples of conic sections. Each of the following should be represented at least once: cone, circles, ellipses, parabolas, and hyperbolas. Be sure to label each conic section. Your project should be on poster board, video, Power Point, or other means of display. This should be visually appealing!!! Be creative.

Projects will be due Monday, March 29. There are no exceptions!! Late projects will lose 10% of their points for every day that the project is late.

Please look at the point distribution below and refer often to the grading rubric to ensure that you are completing the project correctly.
