The location for all trainings is the Vee Bar Guest Ranch located 21 miles west of Laramie, Wyoming.

Instructions: Please use this form for Basic Farm and Livestock Training applications.This form will be used to determine your eligibility to attend IOIA Organic Inspector Training. Please review the enclosed course acceptance criteria. Type or write legibly. Include your current resumé. All fees are due with the application. If you are not accepted to the course, your fees minus a $25.00 processing fee will be refunded. For those who cancel after acceptance, refunds minus $100 materials/processing will be given up to August 25, 2003. Course materials will be mailed to you after acceptance to the course. All fees are nonrefundable after September 1, 2003. All applications must be RECEIVED at the Wyoming Business Council office by August 4, 2003. Applications received after that date may be accepted if a $75 late fee is included and the course is not full. Course size for both trainings is limited to 15. If we do not have at least 10 applicants, that course will be cancelled and all funds will be returned to applicants, who will be notified by August 29.You must attend, or have previously attended, the Farm Course in order to take the Livestock Course.

3. If you are not a local commuter, please arrange to arrive no later than 9 p.m. the night before your course begins and leave no earlier than the actual end of the course or final exam. Commuters may arrive on the morning their course begins. Individuals are responsible for making their own transportation arrangements to and from the Vee Bar Guest Ranch for trainings. There is no shuttle service from the Denver International Airport directly to Laramie. Please contact Renée King of the Wyoming Business Council at (307) 777-6319 if you are having difficulty arranging transport to/from Laramie or the Vee Bar Guest Ranch.

Registration, Lodging and Meals: Fees for each course include tuition, course materials, and meals (starting with breakfast of the first day of your course and ending with lunch on the last day of your course), and lodging (starting the night before the course begins and ending the morning your course ends). Lodging is included for Sun., Mon., and Tues. nights for Basic Organic Farm training attendees. Lodging is included for Thurs. and Fri. nights for Organic Livestock training attendees. For those attending both the Farm and Livestock sessions, lodging is included for Wed. night, also. For those only attending the Livestock training, lodging and dinner are also available on Wed. for an additional $50.00 fee. Fees for commuters include tuition, course materials and meals (lunch and dinner only). Two or three individual sleeping rooms are located in each cabin with a shared bathroom, phone, and TV. Single occupancy cabins will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis and are not guaranteed. Your money will be refunded if your request cannot be met. A list of Laramie-area motels is available. Please see more details in the section entitled “Information You Need to Know”. The Wyoming Business Council will strive to provide as much locally grown and organic food as possible.
