This research paper should contain information from at least three reference materials. The reference materials should include research studies and peer reviewed journal articles. It is not appropriate to use Wikipedia, Yahoo, Helpguide and other similar websites that are not scientific journal information and should not be used.

Basic Guidelines:

The paper should be 3-5 pages in length. As a formal research paper it should follow basic formatting guidelines including: double spaced, proper grammar (no contractions), paragraph indentation, works cited or reference page and include at least three references. The paper should be written in MLA. The general format of the paper should include an introduction paragraph that includes a thesis statement. The paper should also include at least three supporting paragraphs regarding current information and research on the topic. Lastly the paper should include a strong concluding paragraph that sums up what you have written. The works cited or reference page should be follow formatting guidelines for MLA style and is not counted in the overall length of the paper (the paper must be 3-5 pages in addition to the works cited page/reference page). When writing in MLA style the paper should be double-spaced in Times New Roman or Arial 12 font. When writing in MLA style the cover page is not needed because this information will be placed on the left side of the first page.

Eating Disorders, Sleep Disorders, Addiction disorders,Impulse control disorders: gambling, sex addiction, kleptomania etc., Schizophrenia, Stress Disorders: PTSD, acute stress disorder

Developmental Psychology: IVF, specific genetic disorders, ADHD, Parkinson’s disorder, Alzheimer’s Disease, Pick’s disease, growing up on TV, video games and attention, video games and violence etc.

Sports Psychology: concussions/TBI in sports, gender differences in sports

Cognitive Psychology: drugs and memory, multi-tasking, children and learning,

Social Psychology: stereotypes, racism in the media, sexism in the workplace, bystander effect etc.

Thesis Statement:

All formal papers should include a well-developed thesis statement in the introduction paragraph of the paper. The thesis statement serves as a “road map” for the reader in addition to aiding the writer of the paper, through organization.

The paper have at least 3 reference materials and they should all be scholarly articles.
