GENERAL:
Seniors: Sign-ups for Graduation Speaker, Singer and Spanish welcome are taking place in the Assistant-Principal’s office through April 27. Try-outs will start April 30 through May 4.
Show Choir auditions-Monday at 7am & 3pm. Tuesday 11th graders at 7am, all others at 9am & 3pm.
Come see your friends in the fun musical, Bye, Bye, Birdie tonight and next Friday and Saturday at 7pm, matinees at 2pm next Saturday and Sunday.
Inklings Literature magazine is having a fundraiser at the town center Chipotle on Monday, April 23. Stop by with a flier.
The Counseling Office is looking for seniors who have an appointment to a ServiceAcademy.That is the Air Force, Naval, Merchant Marine or Military Academy. Please stop by the Counseling Office to see Ms. Sarian if you have an appointment.
Hart Wheels Car Giveaway! Attention all sophomores’, juniors, and seniors! Do you want to win a FREE Car? All your hard work can pay off with a free car from Auto Nation! You may have seen these posters around campus. Put April26 on your calendar because if you had a 2.0 GPA in the 1st quarter of the year and improved it by .3 in the 3rd quarter OR have a 3.5 GPA in the 3rd quarter, you are in this drawing. A list of all entries is available on the AP Windows…stop by and see if your name is on the list. The catch…is that you have to be present at the giveaway that will take place on April 26 in the Canyon High School Stadium at 6pm and you must have a parent/guardian with you. If you have a school-sponsored event on April 26, you must have a parent/guardian in attendance to
receive the prize. If you have any questions, check the poster for details, and stop by the office to see if you are in the drawing! Good Luck!

Canyon Theatre Guild Scholarship:Are you a senior interested in pursuing a degree in Performing Arts? If so, you may want to apply for the $500 Canyon Theatre Guild Scholarship. Four Santa Clarita high school seniors awarded this scholarship. For more information as to criteria and an application, please see the counseling office scholarship file.
