‘GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICES’ AWARD

- Donates a Total of $15,000 to Charitable Organizations in the Region -

EXETER, NH, May 7, 2010 –The New England Agencyan office of MetLife, based in Exeter and serving communities in the New England region, has been honored with the company’s ‘Good Business Practices Community Award’, and an opportunity to direct a total charitable contribution of $15,000 to nonprofit organizations of their choice. This year, the firm has selected to donate funds to Alzheimer's Association, Massachusetts/New Hampshire Chapter; Special Olympics Rhode Island; and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

The Good Business Practices Community Award annually recognizes select MetLife office that exemplify good business practices, both currently and historically. The New England Agency based in Exeter has been named one of three MetLife office recognized nationwide this year. The selection was based upon stringent criteria, including how customers view their service, the operation’s compliance and ethics practices, and an evaluation from management.

The Alzheimer's Association, Massachusetts/New Hampshire Chapter provides support and education to the 142,000 people, and their families, living with Alzheimer’s in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
