Small Discoveries: The Life Cycle Protocol
It is time to discover the secret to life! Your little scientists will discover how fungi are in a kingdom all by themselves. Through growing yeasts they will investigate their energy source and how they are affected by temperature. Finally, they will also come to understand how every bite they take is part of a giant worldwide food web.
Topics Covered: The World of Fungi and Yeast, Food Chains and Food Webs
Grades 3-5
Energy, Motion & Aeronautics: The Engineering and Design process
Students will investigate a variety of concepts related to Newton's Laws and aeronautics. These concepts include aeronautics as it applies to force and motion as well as the effects on individuals who work and live in space.Design projects include: Balsa and Water Bottle Rockets, using Kinex building systems to test Parachute design, and design and build a K-force Kinex Air Pressure Blaster to take home!

Go Car Go: Where Building with Legos and Science Meet
This session teaches basic physics using race cars and Wedo Vehicle builds to test Science Concepts. Nowhere else can students learn integrated concepts in Science while using the fun of Legos to build and program. Go Car Go explores Newton’s Laws of Physics, friction, aerodynamics, and engineering.

Mission Challenge: Build and Program(NEW CLASS)
This class meets the abilities of beginners and more advanced students. Students can choose a model that is included in the class build, modify and complete a mission designed for the model. Missions are designed to be scored-so no worries-score points based upon your ability and goals and then move on! A GREAT CLASS TO DEVELOP BUILDING AND PROGRAMMING SKILLS AND HAVE FUN AT THE SAME TIME
