2014-2015 - Payment Details for British Law Centreat Warsaw University (1stYears)

Course fees are divided into 2 separate payments:

a) thefee payable to Juris Angliae Scientia; and

b)thefee payable to Warsaw University.

More details of each are given below.

A. FEES PAYABLE TO JURIS ANGLIAE SCIENTIA

1. Fee level

The fee level differs according to whether or not the BLC student is also a “current student” of Warsaw University or any other Higher Education institution within the EU, in which case the BLC course fees are lower than for other candidates. The definition of “current student” also includes both undergraduate and postgraduate students, provided they are currently registered as full-time students at a higher education institution.

For all candidates currently registered as full-time students = €525 (payment to be made in Euro)

For all other candidates = €700 (payment to be made in Euro)

2. Details required to be given on Payment slip

The payee is Juris Angliae Scientia.

Your payment details should clearly state the following:

  • Your name and surname (e.g. Jan Kowalski)

[*NB. If someone else – such as a parent – is paying the fees for you, they must ensure that your nameis shown on the payment slip and not their name.]

  • Your year and centre of study at the BLC (e.g. Warsaw 1stYear)

4. Final Date for Payment

Payment must be made and received no later than 15th September 2014, although formal registration on the course is dependent upon receipt of payment so those who pay in advance of this date will have priority in terms of being accepted onto the course.

5. Possibility to make Payment by instalments

Students may enquire about the option to make payment in two instalments. Please enquire about details.

6. Miscellaneous

Most banks charge fees for foreign-currency exchanges and/or transferring money to an overseas bank. Students are responsible for payment of any such bank charges and should ensure that the amount credited to the Juris Angliae Scientia bank account is the actual amount which should have been paid by that student. Any lesser payment received will be treated as only partial payment of due fee.

7. Confirmation of Fee Payment

B. FEES PAYABLE TO WARSAW UNIVERSITY

1. Fee level

The Warsaw fee level differs according to whether or not the BLC student is a current full-time student of Warsaw University Law Faculty (WPiA).

  • Course fee for current Warsaw WPiA students= 840zl (payment to be made in Polish zloty)
  • Course fee for other candidates =1,020zl (payment to be made in Polish zloty)

2. Details required to be given on Payment slip

This payment must be entitled as follows:BLCczesne2014-2015.

The payment should also clearly state the following:

  • Your name and surname (e.g. Jan Kowalski)

[*NB. If someone else – such as a parent – is paying the fees for you, they must ensure that your name is shown on the payment slip and not merely their own name.]

  • Your year of study at the BLC (i.e.BLC 1rok)
