Balzac Re-Enactment: pp. 3—75

Directions:

  1. With your group, select one scene to re-enact. Remember to involve all group members in your re-enactment!
  2. When completed, your re-enactment should be between 1½ and 3 minutes.
  3. After your group re-enacts the scene, have a member identify one topic in the scene and explain its significance in the novel. The presentation must include one quotation from the text, along with insightful commentary. The presentation should first identify the topic/main idea, then relate to a quotation, and conclude with insightful commentary/explanation of the quotation.
