FROM 7:45 PM UNTIL 10:30 PM
Join Lambda DanceSport and other members of the LGBT community & their friends on Sundays right after Terry and Abdul's beginner and intermediate Salsa on 2 classes at the Chevy Chase Ballroom. Included are beginner classes in the Gay Games®Ballroom, Latin & c/w dances for both social and/or competitive purposes, plus training in Swing and Texas Two Step (also for strictly social purposes or for exhibitions in IAGLCWDC Country/Western competitions or exhibitions). All of this followed by general dancing, practice and additional mini-workshops in Salsa, Disco/Hustle, Argentine Tango and more, by request.("Gay Games® is a registered trademark of the Federation of Gay Games")
7:45pm to 8:15pm: Beginner Ballroom or Two Step.
8:15pm to 8:45pm: Beginner Latin or Swing (Jive).
8:45pm to 9:30pm: Open social dancing and practice to all styles of music in Chevy Chase Ballroom's studio B, plus other mini-workshops in Salsa, Argentine Tango, Disco/Hustle and more, upon request. If there ever was a dance that you wanted to learn, this is your chance!
Admission: $7., $5.-Lambda DanceSport members, Free with Salsa Social classes@ 6pm & the earlier beginner or intermediate Hustle and West Coast Swing classes at 4:15 and 5pm.
(Other Mini-Lessons or line-dance/practice routines may be taught upon request)
Terry & Company will be available throughout, for your dancing assistance
