Ball Team, LLC Progress Report

We have enjoyed a solid 2013. We are looking forward to more opportunities as the year progresses and through the beginning of 2014. Ball Team was awarded the AIA Craft Award for the Exile Brewery Project. The Craft Award has been created to recognize the exceptional efforts of a construction team in executing the process of completing a project.
Recently Awarded Projects:
St. Mark’s Church – West Des Moines, IA
We will be completing, over the next couple of months, an extensive remodel of their annex so they can better utilize their facility.
Ingersoll Square III – Des Moines, IA
This will be the next step in the completion of the Ingersoll Square Development. We will be adding 1st floor rental space for Veridian as well as the addition of market rate apartments.
Loffredo Processing Plant – Norwalk, IA
The processing of fruits and vegetables is a growing segment of the food distribution business. The Ball Team has been selected to construct the new 48,000 square foot refrigeration, process, and assembly plant.
Penelopies – Clive, IA
A new concept in women’s hairstyling has come to Des Moines. The Ball Team has been selected to finish out the client’s vision to provide a hair and make-up bar and create an enjoyable, comfortable space.
Siegwerk – Des Moines, IA
Updated office and laboratory space.
Good Samaritan – Indianola, IA
The Ball Team was competitively selected for the construction of a new $5 million dollar senior living facility in Indianola. Pending financing, the project will kick off in July of 2014.
CTK Porter Building -
Christ the King has recently purchased the Porter Building to house various church functions and expansion of its various programs and services.
Projects Underway:
Good Samaritan Indianola – Senior Living Facility
The project involves the creation of a new 20,000 square foot addition adjacent to the existing nursing home facility. This will also be our first project with Schemmer & Associates from Omaha, NE. Expected completion is 11/30/13.
Ingersoll Square Phase II
We were released on November 7, 2012 to proceed with a 63 unit second phase apartment project. It is a complicated tight sight located at Ingersoll and Martin Luther King Blvd. We are excited to work with the Newbury Development team and KLC Property Management and their partners. Expected completion is December, 2013.
Clark County Hospital – Osceola, IA
Phase I of a medical addition/remodel project with a completion date of January 2014.
Firetrucker Brewing – Ankeny, IA
An exciting new re-purpose to an existing Ankeny Fire Station to create a new home for Firetrucker Brewery. The renovations are being timed to hit the spring bike season.
Farm Bureau Chilled Water System Upgrade – West Des Moines, IA
We are very pleased to extend our multi-decade relationship with Farm Bureau. We are assisting The Waldinger Corporation with a complete overhaul of the chilled water system for the Farm Bureau Insurance Headquarters.
Creston High School Tornado Safe Room – Creston, IA
After the 2012 tornado, Creston Schools Systems looked to create a safety space to house its students and faculty in case of an emergency. Ball Team competitively bid and was awarded this project to be completed in February 2014.
