Nancy PearsonYour, Honor, Mrs. Johnson has been under a lot of stress perhaps that will explain her behavior this morning. I totally concur with Dr. Walker that if the ward of the state Cindy Marie West is not speaking by the end of this year after Christmas than she be moved to another foster home. Also….

Nancy PearsonYes your honor, if the child is speaking by the end of the year, I suggest but with some reservations that you grant approval of the adoption

Nancy Pearson I’m not very optimistic that the ward Cindy Marie West will be speaking by the end of the year, only a miracle would have to occur for that to happen
Judge RobertsonI’ve made my decision in lieu of the report just submitted to the court. I’ve decided that after Christmas it would be best for Cindy to be placed in another foster home and to deny the adoption unless she is speaking by the end of the year. If Cindy Marie West is speaking by the end of this year than I approve of the adoption, but only if she’s speaking, I too am not very optimistic that that will occur, because of the obvious compatibility problems, so far……………of course there is an appeal process if my final judgment disapproves of the adoption.
