Class 1: Stallions (must be fully licensed)
Class 2: Geldings, 4 years and over
Class 3: Mares without foal at foot, 4 years and over
Class 4: Mare with foal at foot
Class 5: Foal (To be at least 3 weeks old on show day and eligible for registration in the Fell Pony Stud Book)
Class 6: Yearling Colt, Filly or Gelding
Class 7: Two Year Old Filly or Gelding

Special A) FPS Midlands West Support Group Championship. Highest placed eligible pony, owned by a member resident in the Area, from each Fell Pony In-Hand Class. Champion and Reserve will represent Midlands West for the Inter Area Final at the Southern Breed Show in September
Special B) Youngstock Championship (1st & 2nd Prize winners from classes 5, 6,7 & 8)
Special C) Adult Championship (1st & 2nd Prize winners from classes 1, 2,3 & 4)

In both these classes, rosettes to best junior under 14 years, and best Over 50!
Class 20: Veteran Pony (In-Hand pony, to be 15 years or over)
Class 21: Progeny Pairs class (2 ponies in hand, either by the same stallion, out of the same mare, sire and offspring or dam and offspring)
Please check your timings, as the breed rings will not be held up for these classes

The two highest placed ponies in each section will qualify for the 2014 Final to be held at Addington Manor Equestrian Centre, Addington, Buckinghamshire in April 2014. Stabling will be available.
The competition will run under NPS Dressage Rules and be judged by British Dressage Judges using
British Dressage Tests Prelim 12 & Novice 27
- All qualifiers will receive Sponsors rosettes and cards.
- Horse/ponies must be ridden at the Final by the qualifying rider.
Those qualifying for the Final
- must be fully paid up Dressage or Showing members of the NPS for 2014 in order to compete at the 2014 NPS/Fodder Solutions Final cont/

SHOW RULES
- Exhibitors of Fell and Dales ponies must be current members of either the Fell Pony Society
- and /or the Dales Pony Society. The showing rules of each Society apply to the appropriate classes.
- Classes are only open to ponies registered in the Fell Pony stud book, the Dales Pony stud book, or the Highland Pony Stud book.
- The current showing rules of each Breed Society apply to the appropriate classes. Please contact the Breed Society concerned for a copy.
- The organisers reserve the right to combine or divide any class as necessary. Efforts will be made to prevent classes clashing, but in the event of a clash, classes will not be held up and the exhibitor must decide which to enter.
COMPLAINTS: We do not encourage complaints. This is intended as a fun show, to be
enjoyed by all. If you really must complain, your complaint must be accompanied by a fee of £20.00, which will only be returned if the complaint is upheld.

Directions to Bakewell Showground
From Sheffield and Chesterfield
Approach Bakewell on the A619 from Baslow. On reaching Bakewell, turn left into Station Road just before the bridge, and then immediately right into Coombs Road. Carry on along Coombs road past the car park and the houses, and then a further stretch, until you get to the farm on the right. The Showground entrance is immediately after the farm.
From Matlock
Go into Bakewell on the A6. Turn right at the roundabout by the Rutland Arms Hotel. Follow this straight through the one way system and over the bridge and turn immediately right into Station Road and then immediately right again into Coombs Road. Carry on along Coombs road past the car park and the houses, and then a further stretch, until you get to the farm on the right. The Showground entrance is immediately after the farm.
From Buxton
Go into Bakewell on the A6. Turn left at the roundabout by the Rutland Arms Hotel.
