Backpacking through Europe

Directions: You and a partner will be creating a backpacking trip throughout Europe. The medium that you will use to include your information is a binder and must factor in the following:

  • You will be gone for 1 month
  • You need to visit at least 5 countries
  • You will need to section off your binder for each country that you visit and include all of the information below for each
  • Budget:
  • You have a 6,000 dollar budget. You can spend below this amount but cannot exceed it.
  • Transportation:
  • Are you going to fly? Get a Eurail pass? Bus?You need to look up and price different means of transportation, including getting to Europe and traveling within it.
  • Attractions:
  • What are you going to do each day? What attractions will you see? How much do these attractions cost?
  • Food:
  • Where will you eat? How much money will you allot for food? This doesn’t have to be specific for everyday but pick out some foods that you want to try while you are in that country.
  • Accommodations:
  • Where are you going to stay in each place? Hostels? Hotels? How much will it cost?
  • Culturally sensitive information:
  • What information do you need to know before you go to different countries and attractions?
  • Ex: You can’t have your shoulders or bare legs when you visit the Vatican.
  • Citations
  • Must be in MLA format
  • Must have at LEAST 4 legitimate websites
