Introduce of Flexible Graphite:
Flexible graphite was patented in October of 1962. It was used in aerospace applications in 1964 and shortly thereafter in the nuclear industry. The first use in automobile engine head gaskets was in 1974, and by 1990 about 50% of the engines produced flexible graphite as the facing material. The primary reasons for the success of flexible graphite are its ability to provide an excellent seal, maintain load, and exhibit stability when subjected to cyclical loading, resist heat, and transfer heat very effectively (low contact resistance and high thermal conductivity). The technology of flexible graphite came to China in 1980 and Chinese flexible graphite products are famous all over the world for the high quality.

GTA / GRADE GTA NUCLEAR GRADE: A special grade having an extremely low ash content. Standard nuclear grade 99.9% graphite minimum. Certification of less than 20ppm leachable chlorides will be furnished upon request. Contains no binders or resins. Available sheeted or in rolls.
GTB / GRADE GTB INDUSTRIAL GRADE: Our most popular style sheet. Recommended for gasketing applications up to 3000 degrees Fahrenheit in non-oxidizing atmospheres. Virtually all chemical services. 99% graphite minimum. 50ppm leachable chloride maximum. Monolithic sheet, no binders or resins, mechanical bond. Facing material for flat gaskets and filler material for spiral wound gasket. Available sheeted or in rolls.
SUPER
GRADE / SUPER GRADE :It is called no sulphur product (sulphur content less than: a.100ppm and b. 200~300ppm; Chloride content less than 30ppm). And it is used to nuclear industry and the other special fields. Available sheeted or in rolls.
GHA / Cured laminate sheet made from Premium (Nuclear) Grade GTA flexible graphite sheet. Adhesive is carbonized to minimize outgassing.
GHB / Cured laminate sheet made from Standard Industrial Grade GTB flexible graphite sheet. Adhesive is carbonized to minimize outgassing.
GHL / Laminate made from Standard Industrial Grade GTB sheet. Adhesive bond. Available sheeted or in rolls.
Metal Reinforced Flexible Graphite Laminates
GHE / Laminate with 316 stainless steel tanged insert (0.004 in./0.1 mm. thick) mechanically bonded to Standard Industrial Grade GTB sheet facing. Non-fibrous and non-asbestos.
GHR / Laminate with flat 316 stainless steel insert (0.004 in./0.1 mm. thick) adhesively bonded to Standard Industrial Grade GTB sheet facing. Non-fibrous and non-asbestos.
GHO / Laminate with carbon steel tanged insert (0.2 mm. thick) adhesively bonded to Standard Industrial Grade GTB sheet facing. Non-fibrous and non-asbestos.
GHT / Laminate with flat carbon steel insert ( mm. Thick) adhesively bonded to Standard Industrial Grade GTB sheet facing. Non-fibrous and non-asbestos.
GHS / SS316 wire mesh (screen) inserted and laminated GTB sheet adhesive bonded laminate. Screen is 24 mesh (24 wire/inch) (.0075 screen)
GHF / Laminate with 304 stainless steel tanged insert (0.004 in./0.1 mm. thick) mechanically bonded to Standard Industrial Grade GTB sheet facing. Non-fibrous and non-asbestos.

Flexible Graphite Thread Sealant Paste
GTH / A self-adhesive, corrosion resistant all temperature Flexible Graphite Tape Thread Sealant for pipe joints. Available in. .005”×1/2”×25’ and .005”×1”×25’.

1 Die-Formed Ring: It is used for sealing of valves, pumps and expansion joints, also in petroleum and chemical industry, thermoelectricity, nuclear power, etc. Available: DNΦ6~1100mm, other irregular rings.
2 Graphite Yarn: It is made from expandable graphite together with different kinds of fibers and/ or metal wire and bonding agent.
3 Reinforced Graphite Gasket: It is formed by punching or cutting all kings of Reinforced Graphite Sheets. Available specifications: DNΦ10~3000mm
4 Metal Spiral Wound Gasket: It is formed by over lapping and winding stainless steel tape with flexible graphite tape.
