HISTORY
1978 :Vector is founded, with head offices in Busto Arsizio, outskirts of Milano
1980 :I.A.T.A. Licence is granted
1984 :Moves to new facilities in Castellanza, heart of north Italian industrial district
1990 :Develops the current computer operational system
1991 :Changes legal status to Vector S.r.l.
1998:Changes legal status to Vector S.p.A.
Becomes exclusive member of I.A.S.A (International Air Shipping Association) for Italy
Obtains ISO Certification
2002:Moves to present headquarter, still located in Castellanza, Milano - 2000 square meters of bonded warehouse and ample and modern office space
2005 : New sales office was opened in Turin beginning of 2005
2007 : New security System : X-RAY equipment in our warehouse makes yr goods

Vector legal status is a S.p.A., literal, share based society.Fully paid up capital is 360.000 Euro with approximately 1.000.000 Euro of reserves.
With own staff of over 50highly trained and specialized employees, Vector has developed an in house employees training program to ensure highest employee involvement, quality standards and compliances with company policy.
In 2007the turnover was around 30 millions Euro.
The company is posed to continue growth gradually and steadily.
Strong finance, transparency, works ethics, employees motivation and training are the basic of Vector working style and the reasons of the company success.
Vector is Italian based only, financed with Italian capitals and is part of a worldwide developed network of agents which guarantees the possibility to provide a door to door service from Italy to all destinations.
MARKETS
Vector has a market approach to the transportation business, and therefore handles efficiently both air and ocean products.
Exports is 70 % of Vector business and imports 30% (but it is rapidly catching up).
Vector is specialized in Asian markets, with a top position in Korea, China and India and it is well positioned in Middle East, North America and Brazil. Vector is the Italian leader for kilos exported to Korea (we have the 15% of the total Korean market) and to San Paolo. We are also in the first five to destinations like Bombay, Delhi, Shanghai. In 2005 we also inaugurated a new service to VIETNAM.
SPECIAL PRODUCTS
Automotive sector:Automotive manufactures have special needs of transportation: lean production, just in time, material management, integrated services, world cars, new models, planning are all factors that influence material flows and the production requirements. To serve the worldwide auto industry consistently, takes a special organization, 24 hours services 7 days per week, with a global, top-quality network capable of handling emergencies on very short notice.
Show-business:It is not possible to be late in delivering critical equipment and nothing can go wrong or a concert may be cancelled. Vector represents Rock-It Cargo, world leader in show-business moves, and it has been involved in every major international musical events which took place in Italy in the past decade.
Energy sector:Since the year 1998 Vector has developed a special business strategy, agency network and operational capacity to tender to the oil and energy sector business, from drillings, topipeline constructions, to new refineries or offshore platforms. Vector isworking with the largest worldwide firms in the oil and energy sector and have been involved in special projects worldwide.
Fashion sector:When you handle fashion the most important thing you must care about is safety. All fashion items are seriously susceptible to thieveries. We guarantee all the top effective safety procedures: constant vigilance, plumbed trucks, own pallets made by our highly specialized staff, top secrecy, transit time reduced to the minimum. Special products:We handle also special kind of shpm like AOG, GOH and Hand Carries.
When there are Aircrafts On Ground the shpm has to be arranged as fast ad possible. We provide 24 our service, 7 days per week. Thanks to our flexibility and promptness we can deliver goods in tight times in any moment.
Some fashion brands require Garments on Hangers because of their need to deliver items in the best conditions. We can provide boxes and handling to meet these kind of needs, always with the precision of our service.
When there is an assembly line which is going to stop the most important thing is to deliver the goods which will help not to stop the production in the earliest times. Sometimes the only solution is to arrange an hand carry. We can provide this service in any times and everywhere in the world.
