Dear BRYSA Parents and Local Business Owners:

The Back River Youth Sports Association (BRYSA), established in 1994, is entering its 25th season. We serve children throughout the peninsula. The league has over 200 boys and girls participating each year on one of 4 football teams with corresponding sideline cheerleading squads. Our objective is to teach boys and girls, ages 6 to 14, not only physical skills but mental skills as well. We stress the importance of teamwork and individual responsibility through playing the game of football, cheerleading, and their subsequent related activities.

Our organization continues to succeed due to the generous donation of time from the parents and coaches that volunteer each year. The biggest obstacle continues to be providing a quality program on a limited budget. Our goal each year is to ensure our youth are outfitted with top quality equipment and uniforms; unfortunately, registration fees cover only a portion of our costs. It is for this reason, that we turn to our community for additional financial support to continue the tradition of the BRYSA.

The BRYSA is excited about our 10th Annual Keith Goodson Memorial Golf Tournament. We have five levels of sponsorship for this tournament, and it is scheduled for July 14th at the Hampton’s Golf Course.

We hope you will consider supporting the BRYSA and help our youth succeed, both on and off the field. We are confident that with your help we can continue to provide the tools necessary to help our players and cheerleaders be successful.
